These past few years have been difficult for Johnny Depp’s career in the movie industry. For someone who gave us such incredible and unforgettable moments in cinema, he has suffered a lot of major blows after his ex, Amber Heard, released an op-ed on against him through The Washington Post.
Johnny Depp slowly started losing his roles. During his latest trial against Amber Heard, he spoke out about how it felt to be taken out of his industry:
“It’s been six years of trying times,”
“It’s pretty strange when one day you’re Cinderella, so to speak, then 0.6 seconds [later] you’re Quasimodo.”
One of the recent movie characters he lost was of Grindelwald from The Secrets of Dumbledore. His character was replaced by Mads Mikkelsen. And one of the most major losses to his career was when Disney decided to take his iconic character of “Jack Sparrow” out of the upcoming Pirates of The Caribbean sequel.
For us, we can’t imagine a Pirates of The Caribbean movie without Johnny Depp playing Jack Sparrow. Depp single-handedly made Jack Sparrow as iconic and as memorable as he is today, he is synonymous with Jack Sparrow.
His removal from the massive franchise was also in response to Amber Heard’s accusation, as Depp stated in his testimony: The fallout from the legal battles extended beyond Depp, leading to significant public backlash regarding Amber Heard’s Aquaman sequel controversy. This situation sparked widespread debate on social media, with fans expressing their views on both actors. Additionally, the shifting dynamics within the film industry prompted discussions about accountability and the impact of personal actions on careers.
“My opinion is that it was related to the accusations that Amber has made,”
But, things seem to be changing for the better. Johnny Depp will be making his big-screen return as King Louis XV. The movie will be directed by French director Maïwenn. While Johnny Depp’s return to Hollywood remains to be seen, he is certainly going to be starring in one of French cinema’s biggest movies – and we are here for it!

I would love him to return to acting again! He deserves it as he is a real gentleman in every sense of the word!
There seems to be pushback from the Hollywood elite, not because Mr. Depp was found to be the abused, by a per ponderous of evidence, but because he had the nerve to be an abused male. The Me Too movement is not about the victim unless you are female. In their hypocrisy, they are going to let Miss Heard use them again, simply because she has stated that she is right simply because she is a women, her lawyers have blamed everyone and everything except Miss Heard and the stack of convincing evidence that told the truth. She was the abuser, and has named the “Me Too” movement as the victim, (Not herself, because she can never be wrong) the out come of the trial and they will allow her to, just as they allowed the democratic party years ago to use the very needed and powerful movement ad a weapon against Brett Kavanaugh for political purposes. The problem is not that Mr. Depp rightfully, by evidence and a jury of his peers proved that he was the one being verbally, emotionally and physically abused, but that the Me Too movement has sold themselves to abusers who have used their vital movement as a weapon and have lost credibility with the public. It is not the finding of the jury that did that, it is who, the Me Too movement has aligned themselves with. I wonder if it has crossed anyones mind that perhaps this trial has empowered other male victims to come forward and get help, or is justice only for women.
So happy for Johnny! He is an amazing actor and an amazing human being.
When the dust settles it would be lovely to see a movie starring Mr. Depp. One of my favorites of all time.

I think it’s a wonderful thing for Jonny Depp to come back to the silver screen. I hope Amber Heard never makes so much as a commercial. I think she deserves to be the one banished. She’s the abuser. And actually snorts coke on the witness stand. I mean who does that?

I have been a Johnny Depp fan since 21 Jump Street and nothing will change that. He is a fine actor and I like watching him act, he is so versatile.
An abusive ex should not have taken him out of the roll jack sparrow. I think it was unfair to his acting career and to the fans. I’m so upset with the movie industry.
