“Serious shade. Kim Kardashian and son Saint had a blast watching the Los Angeles Rams play on Sunday, October 9 — but not everyone was excited to see the reality star in the arena,” Us Weekly reported.
The Kardashians star was booed by the rowdy crowd when she appeared on the Jumbotron at the Sunday Los Angeles Rams game at SoFi stadium against the Dallas cowboys.
As soon as Kim appeared on the big screen, football fans started shouting and booing at her and her eldest son, Saint. However, despite the negative reaction, the makeup mogul didn’t snap and remained calm.
“She blew a kiss and waved to the crowd — despite being met with boos from diehard football fans. John Legend was also in the audience on Sunday and received a more neutral reaction when his face graced the Jumbotron,” per Us.
After the booing footage went viral, fans of the billionaire took to social media and expressed their frustration about the incident.
“Men are so f–king lame they rlly just booed my queen Kim K at the Rams game,” one fan wrote on Twitter.
“I think it’s ridiculous that Kim Kardashian got booed at the LA Rams game. Even if you don’t like someone you should still be respectful. I just think it’s rude since she was there with her kid too,” another wrote.
Canadian actor and Arrow’s lead star, Stephen Amell, also came forward in support of the socialite and wrote on his Twitter.
“Kim Kardashian was just shown on the big screen and loudly booed at the Rams game. Being booed at a sporting event is a huge compliment. When people who don’t know you think they dislike you it means you are super duper famous.”
A few others, however, noted that whatever happened at SoFi stadium in Los Angeles was not surprising and the model, in fact, that reaction.
“Why is everyone surprised that @KimKardashian was booed at a football game? It’s America’s pastime. The fans are people with daughters & sons who have hope for realistic role models for their children. Football is not the superficial land of fashion. Those fans can’t be bought,” American businesswoman and television personality, Bethenny Frankel posted on her official Twitter account.
“I just heard Kim Kardashian was booed at the Sofi stadium during the Cowboys versus Rams game. She should be booed everywhere she goes. It’s gonna be a great Monday,” said another.
“So I believe the reason they booed Kim Kardashian is because the country’s getting sick of narcissistic, vain, self promotional, rules-do-not-apply-to-me type people! Like her, like Meghan Markle,” another commented.
Despite the negativity and mixed response from people on and off the internet, the 41-year-old appeared unfazed and didn’t react.
According to Daily Mail, “The beauty was decked out from head to toe in Balenciaga pieces, while her son showed his support for the LA Rams by wearing the team’s blue color.”
“The mother of four, Saint, Chicago, Psalm, and North, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Kanye, donned a luxurious ensemble to attend the game.”
“She slipped into a pair of figure-hugging Balenciaga leggings that contained a gray stripe, along with the brand’s logo printed on the waistline.”
After the game, people anticipated a comment from the SKIMS CEO; however, she didn’t say a word and instead posted stories on her Instagram featuring her son; the two seemed to be having a great time together.
