The reality star explained why all the ‘hot girls’ like to date her ex-boyfriend, Pete Davidson.
On October 6, Kim appeared on an episode of The Kardashians and talked about her now ex-boyfriend, the Saturday Night Live star, Pete Davidson. The couple ended their nine-month-long relationship in early August.
“They have a lot of love and respect for each other, but found that the long distance and demanding schedules made it difficult to maintain a relationship.” A source close to Kim revealed at that time.
In the episode, which according to People Magazine, was filmed in February when the two were together as a couple, the makeup mogul described Davidson’s heart and called him the sweetest and most thoughtful person.
“Pete has the best heart,” the SKIMS founder said in a confessional on “The Kardashians” on Thursday.
“I feel like people, they have this, like, the idea of him that he dates all these hot girls — and he does. But he’s just the sweetest, most thoughtful person.”
Before dating and breaking up with Kim, Pete had been in several romantic relationships with his fellow celebrities like Ariana Grande, Kate Beckinsale, Kaia Gerber, Margaret Qualley, and Phoebe Dynevor.
“In the episode, Kim thoughtfully searched Milan, Italy for the perfect gift to bring back for the comedian. After dismissing a pair of Nike Air Force 1s, she finally settles on a New York Yankees hat for the Staten Island native,” per PEOPLE.
“I’m here in Milan and thinking about him, so just want to pick up just, like, a little thoughtful gift,” said Kim during her outing. “I don’t think he’s like an Air Force 1 kind of guy,” the reality star continued, as she inspected a pair of the popular Nike kicks.
Last month, the socialite chatted with Interview Magazine and called Davidson a ‘cutie.’
“He’s a cutie. He’s literally such a good person, they don’t really make them like him anymore. I’m excited for what he has coming up,” she told Mel Ottenberg, the editor-in-chief of the Publication.
According to Us Weekly, Ottenberg also praised Kim on Saturday Night Live, where she shared an onscreen kiss with Pete in October 2021.
When asked if she wants to continue trying her hand at acting, Kim replied, “Would I act? I would if something fun came about. Maybe a Marvel movie, that would be so fun to do. I’m not actively looking, but I think things just come when they’re supposed to.”
The duo started dating in October 2021, nearly ten months after Kim’s split with ex-husband, Kanye West.
According to People, the major reason for their split was their ‘long-distance’ relationship.
“Long distance hasn’t been easy for Kim’ as Pete continued shooting Wizards! abroad.”
“Kim loved visiting Pete in Australia in July. They had been apart for several weeks, and they enjoyed a long weekend together. Pete is still filming but will be finished now in August. He has another project in the U.S. though, so he will continue to be busy.”
