The Titanic star, 48, is not happy with his reputation of exclusively dating women under the age of 25.
A source close to DiCaprio recently revealed that he does not enjoy people’s jokes about his love life. Every time he gets photographed with a young lady, everyone speculates that he is dating that person.
The insider added that Leo wants a ‘real relationship’ in his life similar to his connection with the American model Camila Morrone.
“Leo is very single right now and he is not keen on the hype suggesting that he is seeking out these very young women,” the insider revealed to DailyMail.
“He is looking for something more mature in the relationship department.”
The source added, “It is just ridiculous because he cannot go anywhere without being linked to the youngest beautiful woman there. He wants to ditch this image once and for all and he is really bothered that this continues to follow him.”
“Leo wants something like he had with Camila, something real.”
For the past many years, the actor has had a strong reputation for only dating women under the age of 25, and because of that, he is always in the news and becomes a meme whenever he gets pictured with a new girl under 25.
DiCaprio dated Morrone, 25, for almost five years and broke up just a few months after her 25th birthday. Was it a coincidence?
The duo started dating back in 2017 when Camila was only 20 and DiCaprio was 42.
According to The Sun, a source said, “Leo and Camila ended their relationship over the summer.
“There are no bad feelings between them. It just came to a natural conclusion.”
The news came out just days after Morrone was spotted enjoying vacation with her mother in ST-Tropez.
According to PEOPLE, in July 2019, an insider told the outlet that Leo and Camila were pretty serious about their relationship. “It’s definitely not a casual relationship. Camila spends a lot of time at his house. Camila is long known as Leo’s girlfriend. And Leo introduced her to both of his parents long ago.”
