Tish Cyrus, mother of Miley and Noah Cyrus, announced her engagement to her beau, Dominic Purcell.
“A thousand times…. YES,” she wrote on Instagram alongside two photos of her getting cozy with her now-fiancé, Purcell, while showing off her square-shaped diamond ring.
The announcement post received congratulatory messages from the pair’s friends, fans, and family.
“Ahhhhh congratulations Tish Cyrus,” one wrote. “This honestly just made me SO happy. You’ve lived for everyone for so long, and I’m so happy to see you living for yourself!!! You deserve all the happiness in the world. Love you! X”
“Yessssssss,” commented Dominic’s daughter, Lily-Rose Purcell.
“Congratulations to my Dad and @tishcyrus. Thank you for being such a wonderful couple of love. I love you both so much forever!,” the actor’s elder daughter, Audrey wrote on her Instagram story.
The couple first went Instagram official with their romance last year in November when Tish, 55, shared a sweet photo of herself embracing the Killer Elite actor, 53.
“Thanks for the cute photo @vijatm,” She wrote on her story with a red heart emoji and tagged Purcell.
Following the photo, Cyrus shared a quote on her story that read, “In God’s perfect timing, everything will turn out right!” with caption, “Sometimes that’s hard to believe but it is so TRUE.”
The pair were first ‘romantically’ linked in July 22 after sharing a series of flirty messages on Instagram.
“Things couldn’t be going better for Tish and Dominic,” a source revealed to the Us Weekly magazine in February.
“She truly feels like she found her soulmate. … Tish wanted to keep their romance under wraps for a little while until she was sure he was The One.”
The insider added it didn’t take long for Miley’s mom to realize that the Gridlocked actor was the ‘one’ for her.
“They’ve been inseparable since. She absolutely sees a future with him and feels so blessed that they found each other.”
The mum-of-five, a music manager, was previously married to the Achy Breaky Heart singer Billy Ray Cyrus.
The pair tied the knot in 1993 and welcomed five children together – singer Miley Cyrus, now 30 years old, and four others, including Noah Cyrus, 23, and Braison, 28. She also has two children from her previous relationship, Brandi, 35, and Trace, 33.
The couple finalized their divorce in July 2022.
“After two previous divorce filings, Billy Ray Cyrus and Tish Cyrus finally decided to go their separate ways in April 2022,” People reported in July 2022.
“Tish filed for divorce in Williamson County, Tenn., after 28 years of marriage, citing ‘irreconcilable differences,’ according to the documents obtained.”
Speaking to the outlet, the former couple said in a joint statement that it was time to move on from their relationship and carve new paths.
“We have grown up together, raised a family we can be so proud of, and it is now time to create our own paths.”
Following his divorce from Tish, Billy started dating the Australian singer, Firerose, and it was reported that they were getting along really well.
“They’ve been dating for a little while,” an insider revealed to PEOPLE. “They grew close while working on music together. It is what it is. He and Tish were over before he started dating her.”
In September, Firerose sparked engagement rumors after posting a photo wearing a diamond ring on her ring finger.
“Billy looked at me and said, ‘Do you, do you wanna marry me?’ And I was just like, ‘Of course I do. I love you.’ He said, “I love you. I wanna make this official. I wanna be with you forever.’” She told People.
The pair eventually announced their engagement in November 2022.
