Rosanna Arquette says it’s ‘Disturbing’ to See Women Picking on Amber Heard

As Hollywood’s most-followed defamation trial between Johnny Depp and Amber heard is almost near to its conclusion, and hopefully, fans around the world will soon witness a fair judgment by the court. Well, at least, hopefully so.

The details of both Depp and Heard’s testimonies are upsetting. They are not only gruesome and violent but also contain extremely intimate narratives about their relationship. Although it’s not sure which party is telling the complete truth and who’s merely exaggerating everything in front of the jury, nonetheless, the details of this trial are not very pleasing.

Even though Johnny Depp was previously alleged to be a “wife-beater” by London’s High Court, and many people believe that it is somewhat true, a vast majority of the people around the world still stand in support of the famous “Pirates of the Caribbean” actor.

The internet appears to have overwhelmingly picked Depp’s side. Last week the hashtag #JusticeForJohnnyDepp was trending on Twitter; yesterday, it was #AmberTurd.

Throughout her legal battle with Depp, Heard has struggled to find both public and media support. Recently, she even claimed that because Johnny Depp has a greater publicity reach, people think that she is a Liar.

Now, if you even scroll through different social media apps, the anti-Heard sentiment is shocking. People are making memes about her and calling her names. So far, all the memes and jokes about the Aquaman actress have been disrespectful.

So, it is pretty clear that Amber Heard neither has public support nor her celebrity friends and acquaintances have shown their respectful sentiments toward her. However, only recently, the famous Pulp Fiction star, Rosanna Arquette, has jumped to Amber Heard’s defense amidst all the hatred.

Mia Farrow tweeted earlier this week, saying:

“So many people are picking on Amber Heard. Why?”

To this tweet, Rosanna Arquette responded:

We all understand that people who love Johnny Depp will always show their support for him, no matter what. It is entirely fathomable. However, even the people who have not even watched a single Johnny Depp movie send hate on Amber Heard and call her a dramatic b**ch.

Is this behavior acceptable? Well, no we think this is plain misogyny. Even the company behind the makeup compact Heard used to hide her bruises (which she claimed she received at the hands of her ex-husband Johnny Depp) even made a TikTok video and disputed her claims.

Since the very beginning of this trial, heard has been continuously looked down upon and considered a manipulative liar. People even rejected her assault allegations and decided to stand with Johnny Depp instead.

It is indeed alarming. While we still do not know who is speaking the complete truth and who instigated violence and became the source of pain and trauma for the other, however, we can still choose to not remain impartial and unbiased while listening to both parties rather than blindly sending hate to one.

  1. I have listened to a lot of it and so far it appears as though she has lied alot. About her injuries. Things that “happened”. JD on the other hand admitted to some pretty horrid texts/words. He does have the power to twist whatever but I believe him. In the end they only know the truth. Individual truths and couple truth. Meaning. Did she marry him to get a leg up and his money? It always looked that way to me. Her words ” I don’t want to hang out with those old guys” To me and my kids(her age group) 🔥Old legends!!🔥🤟👍🎸🥁

  2. Unfortunately all her lies one by one have all been found out! And listening to some of the audio tapes she sounds absolutely awful! So yes I do think she is guilty! I think at the end of the day they have both been in a very toxic relationship and I am sure Johnny Depp has more than learned his lesson! All he wants to do is clear his name and I think he has more than done that! I hope after Friday the 27th May he can finally stand up and be counted as that is what he deserves!

  3. What’s really disturbing, is an actress, with such a HUGE opportunity to bring positive attention to mental health problems she DOES suffer from, instead, played the victim and blamed her mental problems for her heinous violence and cold hearted mockery towards her victim. And that’s not enough for the entitled, arrogant, spoiled child. She then did the same with to the strides being made for equality for women, survivors and victims of
domestic violence, rape, etc. It’s like she gauged public reaction and was willing to say whatever to get public sympathy. She doesn’t know how to hide bruises, she knows how to make them. She leaked the divorce filings when a dv survivor would have hauled ass far away immediately, before their aggressor was served. And any real victim will tell you, you don’t argue with your abuser, taunting them and disagreeing with them..you apologize, you agree, you appease. Not once, in any recording was she trying to get away, trying to calm Johnny down, or trying to change the topic. Not one single time, was there fear in her voice, words or actions. Plenty from Johnny though. He lost seven million, his reputation, his career. He was shamed publicly, privately and professionally. Not her. She’s reaped countless benefits until now, when the truth finally came out. You say she doesn’t deserve it? I say she’s one of those people that need to know personally, the consequences of being a lying entitled spoiled rotten twit. It’ll hopefully stop her from ever trying to do this again, and maybe she’ll get the help she needs before she kills someone.

  4. The facts and evidence speak for themselves,,,,, she’s lying, even a blind man can see this to be true!

  5. I am a victim of DV. A person that has been a victim would find AH’s behavior in videos as “not believable”. I would never have goaded my abuser or taunted him, as we have heard & seen in recordings. I don’t know about other DV survivors, but I do know exactly how I reacted. Being hit & broken bones are obvious and “makeup” can not cover them.

  6. They’re both toxic af. I personally don’t like either one but especially amber. She, at the very least, participated. Women who are abused don’t respond or instigate the way she did.
