According to an eyewitness, Shawn, 24, and Camila, 26, ‘appeared very physical’ as they sat in the VIP section of the MetLife stadium amid the star-studded audience to watch their friend’s sold-out performance.
“At one point during the show, Shawn was sitting on a chair, and Camila was in front of him, leaning on him,” the concert-goer told Page Six. “He had his arms around her at another point and was spotted kissing her on the shoulder.”
“People in the audience looked away from the stage and back at the couple and even started cheering for them as they spotted them in the crowd,” the attendee added.
The pop duo reportedly rekindled their romance in April when they were spotted sharing a steamy kiss at Coachella on Friday, April 14.
According to Us Weekly, “The pair arrived at the Indio, California, festival grounds moments apart just before 6 p.m.”
“They were flanked by bodyguards and had a big group around them. They weren’t holding hands, but stayed together all night,” a source revealed to the outlet. “They were in a VIP table, trying to stay out of sight.”
Later in the night, the pair were seen packing on the PDA as “Mendes, 24, had his arm around her waist as they walked to the stage,” the source said. “The PDA continued as the Nigerian rapper played his hit ‘Last Last.’”
The romantic reunion comes a year and a half after the couple announced their breakup in a joint public statement.
“Hey guys, we’ve decided to end our romantic relationship, but our love for another as humans is stronger than ever,” the singers announced in November 2021.
“We started our relationship as best friends and will continue to be best friends. We so appreciate your support from the beginning and moving forward. Camila and Shawn.”
The split announcement surprised fans as they were spotted kissing passionately in Miami earlier that month.
Camila and Shawn officially started dating in July 2019 after they were seen holding hands on multiple occasions during the same month.
