Jeremy Allen’s wife, Addison Timlin has filed for divorce from the Shameless actor after more than three years of marriage and two kids together.
On Thursday, May 11, the 31-year-old Fallen actress filed paperwork to end her marriage with 32-year-old White legally.
“Timlin submitted a divorce petition categorized as “dissolution with minor child” on Thursday with the Stanley Mosk Courthouse. The filing falls under the “family law division” in L.A,” Us Weekly reported.
Jeremy and Addison tied the knot in October 2019 at the Beverly Hills courthouse and share two daughters together – Ezer, 4, and Dolores, 2.
So far, the reasons behind their split remain unknown.
The couple first met as teenagers in 2008 while shooting the drama/mystery film, Afterschool, but didn’t start dating right away; reportedly, their romance began in 2013.
“We have a nice foundation from being friends for a long period of time, and then it took a hard right turn into romance,” Addison told Harper’s Bazaar in an interview.
While dating, Jeremy and Addison kept their relationship private even when the Derailed star was pregnant with his two children.
“We made a baby, and my heart is bursting at the seams,” Timlin said in 2018 when she was pregnant with Ezer. “Today is my birthday but my wish already came true. This is 27, and the best is yet to come.”
In October 2018, after the birth of their first Babygirl, Timlin shared a photo of her then-beau and the newborn Ezer on her Instagram and wrote, “Ezer Billie White 10.20.2018 Welcome to the world baby girl, it just got so much brighter.”
They got engaged in April 2019, and within six months, they announced their marriage. The following year, the couple welcomed their second child, daughter Dolores and became the happy parents of two beautiful girls.
“She is the answer to 1000 prayers and we are in love with her,” Timlin wrote on her Instagram.
Last year in August, The Bear actor gushed over his relationship with his daughters and told InStyle his children had taught him many new things.
“I learn a lot from them,” he said. “I feel like in a lot of ways, they’re teaching me all the time how to be better: how to be better to them; how to be better to my wife, my friends, my parents, my sister. I think I’ve been ready to domesticate for a long time, and I’m so happy to be in the house all the time with them.”
While it is still not clear what became the reason for their breakup, it has been only four months since Jeremy said during his acceptance speech at the Gloden Globe Award ceremony that he deeply loved his wife, Timlin.
“I love you deep in my bones. Thank you for all that you do, thank you for everything that you’ve done.”
