She isn’t hard to love in the sense that she has a repulsive and stressful personality. She isn’t hard to love in the sense that she’s going to be a big pain in your butt. She isn’t hard to love in the sense that she’s going to act like a total meanie towards you on purpose. She’s a very complex human being who has had to deal with so many terrible experiences in the past. And that’s why she isn’t going to open herself up to just anyone anymore. She wants to keep herself guarded.
She isn’t going to make it easy for you in the sense that she isn’t going to settle for anything less than your best. She is going to push you. She is always going to encourage you to give everything that you’ve got to your relationship – and to your life in general. She doesn’t want to be with someone who is merely going to settle for a life of mediocrity. She isn’t going to want to be with someone who considers “good enough” to be good enough.
She is the kind of girl who is never going to allow you to quit. She knows and understands your potential; and she isn’t going to allow you to settle for a life that is less than the one you’re capable of living. She is going to put a lot of her faith in you even when you find it hard to believe in yourself.
She is going to make it hard for you in the sense that she is going to force you to take responsibility for your own life. She isn’t going to allow you to resort to excuses and scapegoats. She isn’t going to allow you to absolve yourself of any accountability. She is never going to allow you to just slack off even when she knows that you have so much more to give. She is going to keep you honest. She is going to keep you true.
She is going to make sure that you keep on grinding – and that you own up to whatever shortcomings or achievements you might go through in life.
She has been around the block before and she knows how it goes. She knows when a person’s effort just isn’t going to be enough – and that’s why she’s going to demand so much from you. She knows that “easy” just isn’t going to cut it. She knows that “average” is never going to be enough. She knows how difficult it is to deal with a love that betrays you. And she doesn’t want to be put in that kind of position anymore. She’s going to ask a lot from you because she knows the amount of effort that it takes to make a relationship work.

She is hard to love in the sense that she’s really going to take her time. She isn’t going to rush into anything. You might grow a little impatient as you try to win her trust. But you have to understand why she’s like that. She’s just trying to protect herself. But you also have to know that once you do manage to earn your trust, you have her trust for life. You have her complete loyalty.
Once you gain her trust, you have someone who is always going to defend you and understand you to the best of her abilities. You have someone who is going to be as patient and as committed to you as possible. She is really going to make it worth your while.
She is going to make it hard for you in the sense that she’s always going to keep things real. She is always going to want to confront the truth no matter how uncomfortable or inconvenient it might be. She is always going to be blunt with you even if it hurts. She’s always going to stay honest with you even when you can’t handle the truth.
She does this because she knows that the people she loves are always going to be deserving of the truth. She isn’t going to make it easy for you. She isn’t going to make it simple. But that is also what makes her worth it.
