A woman who divorced her husband and later had a child with their former nanny has become an internet sensation after posting a video of them appearing’ a bit too cozy’ on a ride during a family trip to Disney.
Natalie, a 33-year-old mother of two from Ibiza, Spain, joined TikTok recently following her difficult divorce. She’s been sharing videos about her ex-husband and his new girlfriend, who happens to be their former nanny.
In her latest viral video, she posted a revealing photo taken while they were on Splash Mountain. Natalie was seated with her daughter while her ex-husband and the nanny were in the row behind, with the nanny leaning toward him.
“I was going through old photos and came across more than one where they were a little too close…” she wrote.
The ex-stay-at-home mother has never directly claimed that her ex-husband and the nanny were involved in an affair. However, her videos strongly suggest that something inappropriate was happening between them while they were still married.
“We went to Disneyland in Orlando and took the nanny with us. To help with the kids…. Not the husband,” she wrote on the video clip, which has garnered nearly 2 million views.
Several commenters empathized with Natalie’s situation and expressed their support, while others couldn’t help but mention that Disney World is situated in Orlando, not Disneyland.
“oh my God, the worst. I was a live in nanny as well and I would NEVER,” one person commented.
“Her husband is even more to be blamed more than the nanny,” said a second.
“First red flag is that they sat together on the ride!!!” added another.
“Knowing damn well there would be a photo of it… that’s so cheap of her…” someone wrote.
Some critics blamed Natalie for hiring an attractive nanny, as one TikTok user alleged, “You would never have had this problem if you had hired Mrs. Doubtfire.”
In a subsequent video, Natalie responded to a comment about the presence of two parents and a nanny for one child, clarifying that they had actually brought two nannies along to assist with their two kids during the overseas trip.
The mother, whose children are now 9 and 10, clarified that they had employed two nannies who worked different shifts during their trip to the US six years ago. They brought both nannies along to have company during their downtime.
Natalie has faced a tough year, transitioning from being a stay-at-home mother to working a low-paying entry-level job while her former nanny resides in her former home.
In a previous video, she clarified that ‘alimony’ is not a concept in Spain. Upon divorce, couples typically retain what they brought into the marriage.
“When I got married I was 22 years old, I didn’t have anything when I entered the marriage,” she told her followers. “So any money I get is out of the goodness of his heart. Legally, he doesn’t have to give me anything.”
In another video, Natalie shared why she tends to criticize her former nanny more than her ex-husband, who recently had a baby with his new girlfriend.
“I get so many comments asking me why my videos are angled towards the nanny and not towards my ex-husband because “it takes two to tango,” etc. I wanted to explain why,” she said in her TikTok video.
Natalie mentioned that her ex-husband has shown remorse and understanding of their challenging circumstances, while the nanny has displayed the opposite behavior.
“She sends me vile messages. As soon as I moved out of my old villa, she moved straight in. She has banned me from going to the house to even pick up my kids. I cannot go round to collect my possessions. If I want anything from that house that’s mine, they send it over with the cleaner. Which, you know, is ugh.”
She continued, “She actually filed a police report against me at the beginning of all of this because when I found out, I went ape s**t. Like I lost myself completely. I mean, who wouldn’t?”
The mum revealed that she was unaware of the police report filed against her until she received a phone call from law enforcement. The report alleged that she had called the nanny a ‘slut’ and had been verbally abusive towards her.
“I was like, “Yep, I did that. Not gonna deny it because she is a slut.” Anyway, so I eventually got her to drop the charges against me. But you know what I mean? It’s just things like that,” she said.
“If it had been handled differently, and she had said to me like, “I’m sorry for how this has happened…” At the end of the day, if they really love each other, they just had a baby together, then who am I to stop them from being together?” Natalie concluded.
“It’s just the way that it’s handled that’s just so wrong, and her whole attitude me is just so wrong. Like how can she possibly be so horrible toward me?”
