Incredibly Heartbreaking Footage of Ukrainian Father Bidding Farewell to His Little Daughter as She Evacuates

We’ve covered a lot of raw emotional stories, but this one made us tear up the most. This month has been agonizing for Ukrainians as they are forced to either flee for their safety or stay for their land.

The Ukrainian president has asked all men aged between 18-60 to stay and defend their land – which has caused a lot of happy families to sadly get split up as fathers, brothers, and sons stay behind while their family members are evacuated to safety.

A very emotional and heartbreaking footage has gone viral all over the internet where a Ukrainian father can be seen embracing his daughter before she evacuates along with the man’s wife; the video can be seen below.

This video shows the true love a father holds for his daughter – who doesn’t know whether he’ll get to see his family again or not. He embraces his daughter with tears in his eyes, kisses her goodbye, hugs her, and makes sure she gets evacuated safely while he stays behind to defend his country.

His wife can also be seen in the video trying to support her husband and console him, but the man’s emotions are truly heartbreaking. He simply doesn’t want to let go of his daughter without any guarantees of ever seeing her again. A loving father would do anything in the world for his daughter; he would protect her, love her, care for her, make sure she grows up a happy woman; and that can all be seen on this man’s face in this video.

Ukraine’s president, Volodymyr Zelensky, has issued a decree announcing that all men from 18-60 remain in Ukraine and defend their land. It depends on how the situation develops, but the decree will be in effect for 90 days as of writing this article. Amidst these strong men staying behind are world-renowned boxing brothers Vitali Klitschko and Wladimir Klitschko.

We hope for everyone’s safety, and our hearts go out to all of the families that have to go through this incredibly distressing time of separation and uncertainty.

  1. Anyone – including those who think war is okay should have to put their own families on the front line. War is not glorious or glamorous. It is a horrible waste of lives. People all over the world just want to have the freedom to be. Those who use war as a tool to destroy should be held ultimately accountable for the thousands of murders they create not only for their so called enemies but also for those of their own countries they put in harms way

  2. I feel this is bull sh*t unnecessary deaths families being split up all because the governments can’t come together for solutions there is no need for this where is the freedom the rights.

  3. God is in control! All things are possible with God! This video is so heartbreaking😭Praying for God’s guidence upon this father and all the fathers and brothers who left their faimly just to protect their loved ones💜May God be with you all. Pray for Ukraine😭❤

  4. Why can’t the war stop already. It’s so sad and heartbreaking. At the end of the day we are all family we all bleed red, doesn’t matter what colour our skin is or our nationality. This needs to stop why can’t we all get along already. Poor child going to have a hard time going to bed and getting through each day not knowing if her father is ever coming back to her.

  5. Prayer for both countries to stop war because many people affected specially all children’s please stop war God bless us all keep safe in all countries..🙏🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️
