He tipped the waiter enough money to cover his college fees
The American singer recently visited Charleston’s restaurant in Omaha, Nebraska, with his family and gave a very generous tip to a waiter named, Jordan Schaffer.
The waiter later shared the video of the moment on his TikTok and thanked the Swalla singer for his act of kindness.
“Serving @jasonderulo and his family is something I’ll never forget I cannot say thank you enough,” he captioned the video.
In the video, Jordan thanked Derulo and said the musician had just paid his college semester fees.
“Hey Jason, thank you. You just paid for a semester at my college. I can’t thank you enough,” said Jordan.
In the clip, Schaffer could be seen looking at the extravagant tip from Jason and saying, “Wow, my heart’s beating really fast.”
“You guys are really awesome, man,” Derulo told him.
“I hope you and your family have a wonderful time in Omaha. And I hope you see us again. Thank you so much,” Jordan said at the end of his video.
Then he showed his followers the receipt and said, “Dude, check it out, I can’t believe this.”
“You seem like a great person. Thank you for taking such great care of our fam. Keep spreading the love bro,” the singer commented on Jordan’s video.
He also shared the video on his official TikTok page and wrote,
“Blessed to be a blessing.”
The clip has been viewed by over 1.5 million on the platform and received hundreds of appreciative comments.
