Last month on June 10, 2022, Canadian singer Justin Bieber posted a video on his Instagram where he updated the fans that he had facial paralysis.
“Hey everyone Justin here, I wanted to update you guys on what’s been going on.” He said in his video.
“Obviously, as you can probably see with my face. I have this syndrome called Ramsay Hunt syndrome and it is from this virus that attacks the nerves in my ear and my facial nerves and has caused my face to have paralysis.”
“So for those who are frustrated by my cancellations over the next shows, I’m just physically obviously not capable of doing them; this is pretty serious, as you can see. He continued. “I wish this weren’t the case, but obviously, my body is telling me I gotta slow down, and I hope you guys understand.”
Justin began his tour mid-Feb this year after delaying it for two years due to the pandemic. And he was due to perform at the last few locations in the United States. Before moving on to his Europe tour, his last concert was scheduled to be in Inglewood, California.
Bieber concluded his video by saying he would stay in for a while to get back to normal.
“I love you guys. Thank you for being patient with me and I am going to get better. I’m doing all of these facial exercises to get my face back to normal, and it will go back to normal.”
A week later, his wife, Hailey Bieber, chatted with Good Morning America and told fans that Justin was doing well and there was no need to worry.
“He is doing well and getting better every single day. He’s feeling a lot better. Obviously, it was just a very scary and random situation to happen, but he’s going to be totally okay and I’m just grateful that he’s fine.”
“Every single person has sent well wishes, advice, recommendations, and it’s actually been really amazing,” she added.
Bieber’s diagnosis came right after Hailey’s own health struggles – the 25-year-old model suffered a mini-stroke in March.
“I feel a lot better after that situation. I feel good. I had a procedure done to close this hole in my heart, and I’m just giving my body the time to heal and recover. It was a little hard for me to recover from the procedure – just giving myself the time to work out again and feel like normal.”
Yesterday the ‘Love Yourself’ singer was spotted smiling while vacationing with his wife Hailey in Idaho, US. The couple was accompanied by their friends Usher, Jason Kennedy, and his partner Lauren Scruggs.
The Daily Mail has reported that the couple was seen smiling and having fun with their friends, and Justin seemed fine, which means his condition has improved.
The 28-year-old singer wore fluorescent yellow shorts while Hailey looked stunning in a blue bikini top and matching pants.
According to the outlet, it is evident from the pictures that Bieber feels a lot better as he is seen enjoying himself with his wife and friends.
