Who is the nicest man in Hollywood? Obviously Keanu Reeves. This man never disappoints.
Where there is fame, there will always be some degree of scandal. Not with Keanu Reeves. He is the source. His heart beats red, raw to the world that judged him and found him wanting.
The John Wick lead star has always been known for his kindness and humble interactions with his fans.
Yesterday, the star made a surprise visit to a local Hertfordshire pub and stunned everyone to an extent that the cook looked like he was about to pass out.
The 58-year-old casually entered The Robin Hood pub in Tring around 12:30 in the afternoon and ordered lunch – fish and chips, a shepherd’s pie, and some beer.
“He came to the bar and ordered a beer (Seafarers Ale) and just walked over to the corner. He ordered fish and chips and Nat’s shepherd’s pie,” a staff member told Metro.
“When I took the cutlery down, I asked, “Oh is someone else joining you?” but he said, “No, we want to try both.” He was with someone else. Presumably a driver or friend, maybe?”
The person added, “One of our cooks was so excited he looked as though he was going to pass out.”
After finishing his lunch, Reeves interacted with the staff members, thanked the two chefs in the kitchen for the amazing lunch, and even posed for photos with the bartenders.
One of the staff members got his picture taken with The Matrix superstar and posted it on the official page of The Robin Hood Tring on Facebook.
“So today we had a surprise visitor for lunch,” the caption read.
“What a lovely man he was too. Laura asked if he would be ok with taking photos with the kitchen lads. He marched into the kitchen shook their hands and praised them for the food they had prepared. Suffice to say he made their days!!!”
This is not the first time, Keanu did something sweet like this. The star has always been known for his kindness and sweet interactions with his fans.
Last year, he surprised an English couple by making an unplanned entry at their wedding reception.
Reeves was staying at a four-star hotel in Northamptonshire, where he reportedly went to work on a Formula One documentary for Disney+.
“The Hollywood actor, 57, crossed paths with Nikki and James Roadnight on their big day because he was staying at their four-star hotel, where rooms begin at £266-per-night and reach up to £495.” Wrote Daily Mail.
According to Newsweek, when the hotel owner and groom-to-be saw Keanu in his hotel bar, he immediately invited him to his wedding reception.
“My husband saw him in the bar area and told him he’d just got married and invited Keanu to come over to say hello and have a drink with us if he wanted to,” Nikki told Newsweek.
“He was very friendly and said he would later on. We didn’t know if he would or not, but it was cool that my husband had spoken to him!”
Nikki said that during the ceremony, a hotel staff member came to her and told her that a ‘very special’ guest came to give her his blessings on her special day.
And when she went to receive the guest, it was none other than Mr. Keanu Reeves!
“It was all very exciting and I went to say hi and introduce myself, and I offered him a drink but he declined that and said he’d just had a long flight so wouldn’t stay long but he was so kind and friendly and congratulated us on our wedding,” she said.
“He was kind enough to do some pictures and our wedding photographer was able to capture some too! Then he took the time to speak to some of our guests and have more photos done!”
At another occasion, he came across a fan in New York who asked him too many questions and he politely answered every single one of them.
LADbible reported that TV producer Andrew Kimmel was also on the same flight, and he witnessed the whole scene and couldn’t help praising Reeves for his patience and niceness.
According to the outlet, the curious fan bombarded the Speed actor with many questions, but he responded very calmly and answered every question without snapping.
“Keanu Reeves was on my flight from London to NYC today. A young boy asked for an autograph at baggage & then began to fire off a series of rapid-fire questions. Keanu happily responded to every single one…” Andrew wrote on his Twitter.
The producer and Beauty & the Bike actor stated that he couldn’t help adoring Keanu for his friendliness with a random kid who asked dozens of questions. Instead of throwing a fit or showing an attitude, the superstar enjoyed the whole encounter
