Bit of an eco-hypocrite, Leo!
The 48-year-old Titanic star recently attended the Green Carpet Fashion Awards in Los Angeles after flying 12,000 miles in his private aircraft in the last two weeks while partying hard with several models.
As reported by Daily Mail, “The actor, 48, posed alongside leaders in sustainable fashion and activism while attending the Green Carpet Fashion Awards on Thursday.”
“But it comes as he has traveled between the US and cities such as London, Milan, and Paris over just two weeks- accumulating over 12,000 miles of travel.”
This is not the first time DiCaprio has come under fire for being an eco-hypocrite. In 2016, the Inception star traveled 8,000 miles in his private jet from Europe to NYC to receive an award for his environmental activism.
“Heading to the awards night this week, Leonardo looked smart as he made a rare stop for photographs at the event, which was held at the NeueHouse Hollywood,” per Daily Mail.
“Donning a suave navy suit for the appearance, he smiled alongside Minister of Indigenous Peoples of Brazil, Sonia Guajajara, in the winners’ room.”
The event came after Leo enjoyed several nights out with different models in London and Paris.
Last month, The Wolf of Wall Street actor partied two nights in a row with Love Island star, Maya Jama, when they were in London for the BAFTAs.
“The telly presenter joined the Hollywood A-lister and his team at Chiltern Firehouse in West London on Saturday night, where they let their hair down until 3.30am with guests including YouTuber Joe Sugg and his girlfriend, Strictly pro Dianne Buswell,” The Sun reported in February.
After having a blast with Jama, Leo leaves the party with his head down, wearing a mask and a cap so nobody can recognize him. But how is that even possible?
According to an insider, “Maya’s schedule is ridiculously busy at the moment but she is making time to work hard and play hard.”
“She had a really late night on Saturday with Leo and his mates at the Firehouse for his pre-Bafta party. She couldn’t possibly turn down that opportunity.”
The source continued, “But she was ready to go again on Sunday night. Leo flew into London for the Bafta events and was out at Annabel’s, where he saw Maya again. They were two of the last people left standing at the late-night event. They really know how to party.”
During the PFA, the 48-year-old Inception star was also spotted partying with Rose Bertram in Paris.
“On Thursday evening she looked incredible in a satin shirt dress and wore her curly blonde locks straightened,” wrote Daily Mail. “The night before, the pair were both in attendance at a party thrown by Leo and his friend Richie Akiva at the trendy Kuku restaurant in the French capital.”
The pair arrived at the venue at the same time and left the bash within minutes of each other.
