Lindsay Lohan is pregnant!
The 36-year-old Mean Girls actress took to her Instagram on Tuesday, March 14, and posted a photo that read, “Coming soon.”
“We are blessed and excited!” she wrote.
Speaking to TMZ, the Freaky Friday alum said about the next chapter of her life,
“We are looking forward to this next chapter of our lives!”
Lindsey, 36, got engaged to Bader, also 36, in November 2021.
“My love. My life. My family. My future,” the actress wrote alongside a sweet photo of herself and Shammas.
The couple tied the knot in a private ceremony in July 2022 and disclosed their new relationship status on Instagram on Bader’s birthday.
“I am the luckiest woman in the world,” Lohan wrote at that time. “You found me and knew that I wanted to find happiness and grace, all at the same time.”
“I am stunned that you are my husband. My life and my everything. Every woman should feel like this everyday.”
And just eight months after tying the knot, The Parent Trap star has announced that they are expecting their first child together.
Speaking to the Cosmopolitan in a cover story interview in October 2022, Lohan said about her bond with Bader,
“I have an amazing husband, who’s a very calm person. Just the best. And my family. And I feel like I have a small group of good friends who are just really good people. That’s the only support that I really need: friends, family, and loved ones.”
In a previous interview with Vanity Fair in 2016, Lindsay said that she wanted to become a mom one day after she’s done making some movies in her acting career.
“Maybe having some of my own soon – after I get some movies done first.”
On another occasion, she also said that she’s open to adopting children if needed,
“I’ve always said that I would love to have two or maybe four kids, but I have no plans to start my own family yet. I am more likely to adopt a child first.”
