White Lotus star Lukas Gage and Kim Kardashian’s hairstylist Chris Appleton are engaged. Congratulations to the happy couple!
The news came less than a month after the duo confirmed their relationship.
“The couple, who made their red carpet debut together last month, got engaged a few weeks ago,” a source revealed to PEOPLE.
“Friends in their circle are definitely shocked at how quick it happened, but they’re happy for them,” the source added. “They seem like the real deal.”
A source close to the hairstylist told the magazine, “Chris has been looking for something real for a long time. This has moved fast but he is dazzled by Lukas.”
Us Weekly also confirmed the news and reported, “They’re not telling the public yet, but they have told friends they are engaged,” according to a source close to the new couple. “They got engaged before they even had rings and then went to pick them out together.”
“Friends think they are a great couple,” the insider added. “Even though they moved very quickly, everyone around them is very excited about their relationship.”
Last month, Appleton, who works as Kim Kardashian’s hair guru, told Drew Barrymore on her talk show that he and the White Lotus actor were indeed a couple.
“I’m very happy,” he said. “Very much in love, and I feel very grateful to be able to share my time with someone very special. Love is a really special thing and, I think, meeting someone that you connect with is very special.”
When the 50 First Dates actress flashed a photo of Lukas on a screen behind her, telling Chris, “You are such an amazing human being; I’m sorry, but you are like the world’s great catch…I can’t think of anyone who deserves happiness more…is there a photo of you guys? Look at you guys, and his name is Lukas Gage.”
He exclaimed, “That’s Lukas [when we were] in Mexico.”
A few days after Appleton’s confession, Gage appeared on the Today Show and admitted being in love with the hair guru.
“I feel very happy, very lucky and very much in love. He’s a good-looking man.”
“We have fun together. We go on adventures, and it’s the best.” He added.
