Kelly Clarkson Settles Divorce with Brandon Blackstock, Agrees to Pay $1.3 Million

Superstar singer and Grammy winner Kelly Clarkson filed for divorce in 2020. She and her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock, were married for seven years, but their marriage wasn’t a happy one.

Brandon was her manager, so it was more of a business relationship than an emotional one. After a lot of court hearings over Kelly’s properties, including her Montana Ranch, Kelly has finally settled her divorce

The Blast reported on the final documents, stating that Kelly Clarkson will pay Brandon a huge one-time payment of $1.3 Million. Along with that payment, she will also pay monthly child support of around $45,601 for her two children.

Her ex-husband will also receive “spousal support” of a whopping $115,000 per month until January 2024. And as for the Montana Ranch, her ex-husband will pay a monthly rent of $2000 while he gets his life together and finds a home for himself.

Kelly Clarkson holds a lucrative and successful career – she reportedly makes around $22 million per year, so it’s safe to say she’s going to be okay. Her marriage wasn’t a happy one, it didn’t give the kind of contentment, and peaceful life one wants out of a good marriage – so it’s eventually a massive win for the superstar who continues to grow her career.
