Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown is engaged to Jon Bon Jovi’s son, Jake Bongiovi.
The announcement was made by Millie, 19, on her Instagram earlier today, where the teen star uploaded a black-and-white picture of herself with her new fiancé showing off her engagement ring.
“I’ve loved you three summers now, honey, I want ’em all,” she captioned the sweet photo.
Jake also shared the news on his Instagram page and wrote “Forever” alongside two photos of the couple.
Since the announcement, Bobby Brown’s Instagram has been flooded with congratulatory messages and wishes for the happy couple.
“OH MY GOD CONGRATS,” Noah Schnapp commented on her pal’s engagement post.
“YESSSS!!!!!!!” wrote Amy Beth.
“Yesssss!!! Congratulations you two!” Breaking Bad alum, Aaron Paul wrote.
“Congrats beauty!!!” said Ashley Tisdale.
“Omg!!!! Congratulations you two so happpy for you eeeee,” Pixie Lott penned.
“Ommmmggggg congratulations!!!!!!!!! @milliebobbybrown this is amazing. So so happy for you darling,” Jess Wright said.
According to Daily Mail, “The announcement confirms some speculation that has been circulating on social media over recent weeks after she flashed a glimpse at the ring in a recent post.”
“Posing behind the wheel of a convertible car in a picture last month, Millie looked away from the camera and lifted her hand in the air, showing the prominent diamond ring on her finger.”
The pair sparked romance rumors in June 2021 when Jake posted a selfie of the two on Instagram and wrote “Bff” with a heart emoji.
Previously, Commenting on her friendship with Bongiovi, Millie explained that they connected through Instagram before the friendship turned into a relationship.
“We met on Instagram. And we were friends for a bit, and then, what can I say?” she said.
In January 2023, the Enola Holmes actress shared a series of photos on Instagram, including three photos of them together – kissing in a photo booth, embracing in a car, and having fun on a snowy adventure and wrote,
“endlessly in love with the year I’ve had! grateful for my friends, family, donkey (bernard), my doggies, my puppies teeth, and my partner for life. here’s to another year with you and the wonderful people and animals around us. let’s do it again but better!”
Jake didn’t hesitate to confess his love for Millie in the comments and said, “Your year babe love you so much.”
The British star became world-famous after appearing on Netflix’s Horror/Sci-Fi- series, Stranger Things that came out in 2016.
The show is produced by the Duffer Brothers, Matt and Ross Duffer, who also serve as showrunners.
The show is set in the early 1980s, and the story revolves around some serious supernatural events happening in a fictional town called Hawkins, Indiana.
It all started with the sudden vanishing of one of the show’s main characters, Will Byers, who was taken by a deadly creature known as the ‘Demogorgon’ into a parallel universe known as the Upside Down.
At the same time, when Will went missing, a psychokinetic girl escaped the Hawkins Lab, where the scientists used to conduct paranormal and supernatural experiments on her.
After escaping from the lab, she found Will’s friends group, which included Mike Wheeler, Dustin Henderson, and Lucas Sinclair, and together they worked and found ways to free Will from the Demogorgon’s prison, which was THE UPSIDE DOWN.
Until now, four seasons have been released of the series and the most recent one broke all records in the history of Netflix.
