We’ve mentioned on a multitude of occasions how motherhood is one of the toughest things in the world. Today’s story is about a 23-year-old mother from Indiana, USA, who went through a painful childbirth which led her to almost pop one of her eyes out – but don’t worry, it’s back to normal now.
Bethany Collins is a stay-at-home mom who recently shared her childbirth story on TikTok; many of her audience members were horrified, including a lot of expecting mothers.
During the childbirth of her daughter, Phoebe Belle, Bethany was given medicines to help with her contractions. But things weren’t working as planned, and the baby’s heartbeat was constantly dropping. The doctors decided to give her an epidural, and she was asked to push as hard as she could.
Knowing that her baby’s heartbeat was slowing down, this brave and strong mother pushed so hard that one of her eyeballs bulged out – almost popping out of her eye socket.
Her video where she explains the event gained over 2 million views, and her viewers are both amazed and scared – but Bethany is a happy mom today with her adorable daughter. Bethany’s eye healed completely.
