Sarah Jessica Parker started acting as a teenager but had a significant breakthrough when she first starred in the American comedy-drama series, Sex and the City in 1998. Her character, Carrie Bradshaw is still loved by people.
“Darren Star reached out to me. He’s written this pilot [“Sex and the City”] and tells me he wrote it with you in mind — you were in his head when he was writing it. I’m going to send it to you. I’ve read it. I think it’s really good. You should meet with him.” She told in one of her interviews.
Ever since her blockbuster TV series, Parker has received immense love from fans across the globe. People admire her for her incredible acting skills and attractive looks.
The actress is known to be popular for her ‘no-makeup looks’ and natural beauty. In several interviews, the actress talked about her lifestyle and how she keeps herself happy and healthy.
While talking to the Vogue, the 56-year-old said,
“To be honest, I’ve never given much thought to [my attitude toward beauty]; it’s never been that I’m without vanity – that would be complete nonsense – but I think that as time passes, you buy the things you enjoy, you learn how to put your cosmetics on in the way that feels most natural to you.”
The actress’s childhood was completely different than her current circumstances. While talking to the Daily Mail, she said that she was never a ‘rich kid.’
Parker was born in 1965 in Ohio. She was the youngest child and had seven elder siblings. She was raised by her mother, Barbara, as her father abandoned them when she was just a child.
After some time, her mother remarried a truck driver while she herself was a child nurse.
“The trouble with talking about it is that people want to make it sound like I’m an orphan,” she said.
“There were times when we went without power because we didn’t pay our bills on time—we simply didn’t have the money that month—and we had to rely on the government for free dinners.”
“However, my parents were highly intelligent and hardworking; our lives were culturally rich, even if things were a bit of a mess in practical terms.”
She told the outlet that although she had a tough childhood, she had no regrets. In fact, she was happy about her childhood as it made her strong and responsible.
“I’ve never taken out a loan from anyone.” She explained, “I consider it a true gift to have grown up the way I did, and I believe my kid is somehow at a disadvantage since he is a child of affluence and has no idea what that means.”
In 1997, Parker married actor Matthew Broderick with whom she has three lovely children; a son and two twin daughters.
“I have a fantastic husband. Here’s the honeymoon part: I still think he’s the funniest, wittiest, most clever man I’ve ever known. He’s still the person who makes me laugh harder than anybody—and I still want him to laugh at me.” She told Oprah. The 56-year-old sensational actress is now living in New York, running a successful clothing line.

She has such obvious facial surgery (and she started way too young), is extremely wrinkled, and she’s actually still in her 50s!
