Suki Waterhouse Confirms She and Robert Pattinson Are Not Married Yet

Suki Waterhouse is not married to Robert Pattinson. Not yet. She shut down the long-running rumor that the pair had quietly wed in an interview with the Sunday Times published on November 1, 2026. And if a wedding does happen, the singer and actress said it will not be a small one.

Suki Waterhouse told the Sunday Times the wedding “would either be all or nothing.”

Waterhouse, 34, and Pattinson, 40, have been dating since 2018. E! Online reports they got engaged in 2023. Their daughter arrived in March 2024. Somewhere along the way, a lot of people assumed a ceremony had already happened off camera.

Suki Waterhouse Addresses Marriage Rumors

Speculation about a secret wedding has followed the couple for almost three years. Page Six traces the engagement talk to December 2023, when Waterhouse wore a diamond ring on that finger during a walk in London.

January 2025 added fuel. According to Just Jared, Sharon Stone referred to Pattinson as Waterhouse’s “husband,” and the rumor took off again.

Then came March of this year. At the premiere of The Drama, his film with Zendaya, both stars were asked by Extra about the biggest secret they had ever kept. Pattinson looked straight at Zendaya and said, “It’s the same one that you have.” Page Six read that as a nod to her secret wedding to Tom Holland. Pattinson did not explain himself.

Suki Waterhouse has now explained for him. No wedding has taken place.

Her description of the relationship was warmer than the rumor mill tends to be. “It is almost a decade and that is a beautiful thing,” she said. She added that she sometimes thinks, “I can’t believe that I’m so happy.”

Her surprise has a history behind it. She told the Sunday Times that before Pattinson, she had only ever dated someone for two years, and that those relationships usually ended badly. Nine years with one person is new territory for her, and she said so plainly.

The Couple’s Life as Parents

Home, for this family, has been a moving target. Since their daughter was born, Waterhouse said, they have lived across London, New York and Los Angeles, according to E! Online.

“We’ve been in rentals and moving every couple of months,” she said. She called the setup “strange and backwards” and admitted the family just has not been home. The base, as she put it, is wherever they can stay together.

Most new parents go the other direction. They buy the house, set up the nursery, stop traveling. Waterhouse and Pattinson did the opposite, and her account suggests the glue was each other rather than an address. Two careers that both require travel do not leave much room for a settled kitchen table. What they kept was the rule of staying in one place as a family, even when the place kept changing.

She does not sound rattled by it. “I feel good about how we’re doing it,” she said, describing both of them as deeply connected to their daughter. She called her a wonderful, happy girl.

Privacy is part of the arrangement. The couple has never publicly shared their daughter’s name, E! Online notes.

Future Wedding Plans on Hold

Suki Waterhouse made the timing clear. Any wedding is on hold until after this year is over. The reasons she gave were practical ones: busy schedules and no consistent home base.

Her vision, when it does happen, is the opposite of a courthouse. “We’d have a massive party, blow it out,” she said. All or nothing, with nothing apparently meaning no wedding at all rather than a quiet one.

Pattinson’s calendar explains some of the delay. In September, Waterhouse was beside him at the Venice Film Festival while he promoted Primetime. Page Six reported the two posed together on the red carpet and shared kisses after the film earned a standing ovation.

Long engagements usually draw questions about commitment. This one reads differently. Waterhouse is talking about a near-decade relationship, a toddler, and a life lived out of rented homes, and the wedding is the least urgent item on the list. The partnership already exists. The party is optional.

Neither Waterhouse nor Pattinson has named a date, a place, or a guest list. For now, the only confirmed detail is size.
