Andrew Shue and Marilee Fiebig Get Married in New Jersey Farm Ceremony

Andrew Shue married Marilee Fiebig on Sunday, November 1, at the couple’s farm outside Stockton, New Jersey. The Melrose Place actor turned philanthropist is 59. The attorney is 49. Photos obtained by the Daily Mail showed the two walking the property in their wedding clothes, and Page Six, Just Jared and People all reported the marriage the same day.

Sunday’s date stood out for one reason. Their former spouses, T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach, got married only weeks earlier.

Andrew Shue and Marilee Fiebig’s Wedding Details

Shue wore a black suit with black dress shoes and skipped the tie, according to Page Six. Fiebig chose a white off-the-shoulder lace gown, a matching shawl, open-toed heels and a netted half-veil. Just Jared described the veil as falling over her face.

Her daughter, whom she shares with Holmes, stood beside her in a navy blue floor-length dress. Page Six reported that she appeared to serve as a bridesmaid and was smiling big next to her mom.

Small guest list. The Daily Mail reported that only close family and friends attended, including Shue’s sister, actress Elizabeth Shue.

No ballroom, no televised special, no magazine cover. A farm in Hunterdon County farmland on a Sunday in November. Two people whose last marriages ended on every entertainment site in the country picked the quietest version of a wedding available to them, and that choice says plenty on its own.

The Timeline of Their Relationship

Page Six reported in 2023 that Andrew Shue and Fiebig had started dating. They met through the worst possible circumstances. Their spouses had been in a relationship with each other.

Page Six said at the time that the connection had grown into something bigger than the scandal that introduced them, and that the two had bonded over shared values.

Three years of dating followed. Then, last month, they announced their engagement. Just Jared reported that Shue revealed in an interview that the pair had quietly gotten engaged earlier this year. He told People: “I don’t know how it happened, but there’s a happy ending.”

Shue has been married twice before this. His first wife, Jennifer Hageney, is the mother of his three sons. He married Robach in 2010, and Page Six reported that they were together 13 years before their split in 2023.

Fiebig was married to Holmes, and their daughter is now a teenager.

Two people who were handed the same humiliation at the same moment have something nobody else in their lives can fully offer. Neither has to explain November 2022 to the other. Neither has to defend how they reacted. Friends can be sympathetic. Only one other person on earth knew exactly what that week looked like from inside a marriage that was suddenly public property. Shue’s line about not knowing how it happened sounds like a man who did not go looking for any of this.

How Exes T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach Factor In

Holmes and Robach’s workplace romance became public in November 2022, while Robach was still married to Andrew Shue and Holmes was still married to Fiebig, Page Six reported. Both co-anchored GMA3 at the time.

Fiebig released a statement then about her husband’s “lack of discretion,” according to Just Jared.

ABC removed Holmes, now 49, and Robach, now 53, from GMA3 in January 2023. A network spokesperson told Page Six it was “best for everyone” that they move on.

Holmes and Robach stayed together. They married in a private ceremony in Arkansas on September 19, according to a marriage license obtained by People. Page Six confirmed the plans were kept so quiet that some of their closest friends did not know in advance.

Robach was also married before Shue, to actor Tim McIntosh from 1996 to 2009. The two share two daughters.

So both couples, built out of the same 2022 headlines, ended up doing the same thing within about six weeks of each other. Private ceremonies. Small circles. No advance announcement. Whatever bitterness existed in 2022, all four adults have now chosen the person they ended up with and made it legal.

Shue and Fiebig have not said whether their exes knew about Sunday’s wedding beforehand.
