Savannah Chrisley told the world this week that she is engaged and expecting her first child, in a social media video showing off her baby bump. The man she is marrying is Jason Galanis, a 56-year-old businessman. She is 29. According to Page Six, she kept the romance secret for months before going public.
She led with faith, not with his name.
Savannah Chrisley’s Big Announcement
Chrisley opened her caption with a line that set the tone: “I’ve prayed for this life. I’ve cried for this life.” She described the past few years as a stretch of heartbreak and loss. At points, she wrote, she wondered whether she would make it through at all.
Galanis was not named in the post. Savannah Chrisley called him only “J.” She described him as her fiercest fighter and her most loyal person, her safe place, and a man with the patience of Job. She added, with a wink, that he needs it. She also wrote that he makes her laugh on her hardest days.
His name came out the same day, on her own terms. In an episode of her “Unlocked” podcast, she said her fiancé was named Jason. She said they met while she was campaigning for a pardon for her parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley. Page Six reported that he proposed last December after five months of dating, with a ring estimated at $1.5 million.
Five months. Then a ring worth more than most houses.
The Couple’s Tropical Getaway
Days after the announcement, older photos surfaced. TMZ obtained pictures from August 2025, taken at the Ritz-Carlton in Grand Cayman during a trip with friends, and Page Six described them in detail. Chrisley, in a red bikini, sits on Galanis’ shoulders in the pool while chatting with their group. Other shots show her beaming as she talks with him and friends near the pool’s edge.
August 2025 puts those photos right at the start. By the timeline she gave on her podcast, the couple were only weeks into dating. They were already relaxed enough to be photographed laughing together, surrounded by people who apparently knew.
Secret from the public is not the same as secret from everyone. Her friends were in that pool.
Galanis’ Record and the Prison Connection
Galanis arrives with a public record. Us Weekly identified him as a convicted fraudster who served time alongside Todd Chrisley at the Federal Prison Camp in Pensacola, Florida. Trump pardoned him too. He was sentenced in September 2020 to more than 14 years for defrauding investors out of millions of dollars and a Native American tribe.
Savannah Chrisley did not hide how they met. She put it on her own podcast. Her version is a story about a fight for her family, and a man who turned up in the middle of it. Whatever anyone thinks of his past, she chose to tell the origin herself rather than let someone else find it first.
Holding the name back while sharing everything else says something too. Her caption gave readers his loyalty, his patience, his humor. It gave them the version of him she lives with. The record came from other reporting. Savannah Chrisley and Jason Galanis were seen together in pool photos from August 2025.
Plenty of relationships start in the worst season of someone’s life. Grief and pressure make people quick to recognize who actually shows up. She has described the last few years as fire. She met him while still in it, and they were engaged within five months. Speed like that can read as recklessness from the outside and as certainty from the inside, and only the two of them know which it is.
Her own words point to how she sees it. She did not call him exciting or new. She called him a safe place.
Savannah Chrisley and Jason Galanis married in the Cayman Islands in July. For now, there is a ring, a bump, a podcast episode, and a set of pool photos from a summer in Grand Cayman when hardly anyone knew.
