Savannah Chrisley is having a boy.

Chrisley Knows Best alum Savannah shared the news on Instagram with a video from a family party, opening with “IT’S A BOY!!!” According to Us Weekly, the post went up on Monday, October 2. She wrote to her unborn son directly: “My sweet miracle boy… you are everything we prayed for.”

Savannah Chrisley Reveals She’s Expecting a Baby Boy

Jason Galanis is the father, and he is also her husband. Savannah disclosed the marriage only days before the reveal, after the two had quietly exchanged vows months earlier.

Savannah, 29, had talked about a “J” or a “Jason” on her podcast, Unlocked With Savannah Chrisley, without ever saying who he was.

She still kept him private when she announced the pregnancy. Us Weekly identified Galanis, 56, as the man she had been describing. According to The Blast, the baby boy reveal landed just days after she disclosed that the two were already married.

The Couple Celebrated with Family and Friends

Todd and Julie Chrisley were in the room. Us Weekly reported that the party was where her parents learned they have a grandson coming.

“Hey There Son” by Charles Wesley Godwin and Wyatt Flores played over the video. Savannah and Galanis cut into a cake together, and the inside was blue frosting.

Ultrasound images were on display, along with blue outfits, tiny white shoes and a stack of children’s books, according to The Blast. Savannah and Galanis kissed as the family cheered around them.

Small gathering. Parents front and center.

Savannah has spent her adult life on camera with this family. She chose to make the biggest announcement of her year with them in the frame, not at a podium or in a magazine exclusive.

Savannah Reflects on the Joy Amidst Negativity

Not all of the caption was celebration. Savannah wrote that the past few days had shown her how cruel the world can be. Then she turned it: “no amount of hate could ever overshadow the joy of loving you.”

She did not spell out what the hate was. According to The Blast, she was referring to hostility she had faced in recent days. Her father had already addressed one strand of it on the “Dumb Blonde” podcast. He pushed back on people claiming she was having a child out of wedlock and said the story was hers to tell.

Savannah promised her son that she and his father would spend their lives protecting him and praying over him. She admitted they could not shield him from every bit of darkness, but said they would raise him to be a light in it.

Couples who go quiet before a big announcement usually do it for one reason. They want something to stay theirs for a while before strangers get a vote. Savannah kept her husband’s name off the record for a year, and the first thing she wrote once the news was out was a promise of protection.

Both choices point in the same direction.

Savannah and Jason’s Secret Wedding in the Cayman Islands

Marriage records obtained by People confirmed that Savannah Chrisley and Galanis married at the Cayman Islands Baptist Church in July, after a year of dating. Plenty of people had assumed they were only engaged.

Savannah later explained on the “Golden Ticket” podcast that they did everything in the Caymans and never filed the marriage in the U.S., because doing so would have made it public record. That was the whole point.

Savannah and Galanis had planned a ceremony for family and friends in January 2027. Us Weekly reported it has now been pushed back because of the pregnancy.

No new date has been announced.
