Teen Model with Lazy Eye Passes Driving Test, but Trolls Warn her to Stay Off the Road

A woman with ‘Lazy eye’ says she has recently passed her driving test, but internet bullies ask her to stay off the road.

Elley Davies is a 19-year-old video creator on Instagram and TikTok who has gone viral on TikTok in the last few weeks.

According to The Daily Star, “Elley Davies, from Pembrokeshire, Wales, was diagnosed with strabismus in her left eye as a child.”

“After refusing to wear glasses, she is about 80% blind in her left eye, and her right side works overtime so she can see.”

But Elley refused to make her condition her weakness and didn’t give up on her goals. She passed her driving test recently and is ready to take the wheel.

However, when she shared the news on her social media, the internet trolls and keyboard warriors didn’t welcome the news and warned Davies to avoid driving by herself.

Speaking to The Daily Star, Elley said she passed her driving test earlier this month.

“I passed my driving test on the 8th of February. Passing felt like a weight lifted off my shoulders, it’s something I’ve dreamed of for so long.”

“So the thrill and freedom was unbelievable!” she said.

She added that she knew she would pass her test because her driving instructor was really good at dealing with her.

“I had a feeling I was going to pass as my instructor was honestly amazing at calming me down. From overthinking situations too much, and believing in myself was my only fault when it came to driving in lessons,” said Elley.

“My instructor knew I would pass, he always told me I was an amazing learner to teach and he knew I wanted this so bad.”

Even though Elley passed her driving test on the first attempt, when she shared her achievement with her 244K followers on TikTok, many people didn’t appreciate her and started warning her to stay off the road.

“When I passed I did a before and after test video, counting down hours till the test and then last clip was me holding certificate,” she told the outlet.

“The video has +1m views, with people commenting ‘stay off the road’ or the usual eye joke comments and people asking how I can drive, just stupid questions and comments.

“There’s also [comments] like ‘she turns left to go right’ and ‘bog eye’ same old comments,” the teenager continued.

“I’m okay with hate because there are people who just don’t understand what it’s like to have a visible insecurity, we all have them, mine just happens to be out on show, which makes them think they’ve got the advantage to judge.”

In her previous interview with The Daily Star, Elley said she wanted to join OnlyFans to earn more cash.

“I like the ability to be free with my body on the app. It’s not just about selling yourself, it’s about self love and being happy to show the body you love and have.”

“Social media is now a big place to build a career for yourself,” she said.

“I believe in what I’m doing is setting myself up for a happy life that I choose to live.”
