The most awaited verdict in the famous defamation trial between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard has finally come out. The jury firmly ruled in favor of Captain Jack Sparrow – Johnny Depp.
The verdict, which was reached after a six-week-long trial with so many ups and downs, is being highly applauded by a vast majority of people.
Apart from the plethora of twists and turns brought into the case by the attorneys of both Depp and Heard, we have also seen that there have been several new and old faces that gained public attention with their testimonies in the trial.
Some of these witnesses were lauded as ‘heroes’ online for their bold behavior in the court, like the ex-TMZ reporter Morgan Tremaine who was highly applauded for clapping back at Amber’s lawyer when she accused him of using his testimony to gain his 15 minutes of fame. Fans called him “king” and “MVP” while praising him on Twitter.
Clinical psychologist Shannon Curry also gained people’s attention when she testified during this trial.
She was hired to review Heard and Depp’s relationship. Shannon claimed that Amber suffers from Borderline Personality Disorder, and she is only “seeking attention” with her false and baseless allegations.
The internet fell in love with the psychologist after her testimony and called her the “real hero” of the case.
Talking about Johnny’s hothead lawyer Camille Vasquez, who has now become a celebrity and is being loved by millions. Fans have lauded her ‘annihilation’ of Heard on the stand.
Vasquez initially gained public attention with her bold behavior and her chemistry with Johnny Depp. She is now wildly popular among social media users. People keep calling her “the best female attorney ever.”
People have also shown great love and appreciation for Johnny’s other lawyer Benjamin Chew. In fact, many have praised his close courtroom relationship with the actor.
Frequently during the court proceedings, fans saw the two smiling and giggling together, and the internet couldn’t get enough of their friendship.

Another person that attained fame through this trial is Johnny’s best friend, Isaac Baruch. He stole many hearts when he took to the stand in April.
Baruch, who became friends with Johnny back when they were just teenagers, broke down in tears as he testified for his best buddy.
‘I want this all to end – her to go heal, him to go heal,’ he said with teary eyes.
He testified that he never saw the two of them being violent to each other and that he only saw them argue twice.
Soon after his testimony in the court, Baruch gained thousands of followers on Instagram.
The internet has also applauded Kate Moss for stepping forward to defend her ex-boyfriend, Johnny Depp. Kate testified in Johnny’s favor by denying Heard’s claims of Johnny pushing Kate from the stairs.
She has always been known as a notoriously-private supermodel, but recently she put aside her infamous hatred of interviews and public attention and testified in favor of Johnny.
During her testimony, Kate said that Depp never ‘pushed her or threw her down any stairs’ and that there is no truth to Amber’s allegations.
The internet showed her a great deal of respect for doing the “right thing.”
Along with all the other names, some animals participated in the trial as well. Well, yes, no kidding!
At every court hearing, fans would line up outside the courthouse in the hopes of getting a glimpse of Depp. Some of these people brought alpacas with them. Yes, the real ones! These alpacas have taken center stage in the trial, and their pictures went viral on the internet.
The animal is symbolic in the case as it was used in a quote by Johnny himself about his relationship with Disney after Heard’s op-ed in 2018.
The actor stated that he would not return for another Pirates movie even if Disney offered him $300 million and a million alpacas. So, fans frequently brought the animal to court in an attempt to show their support.
A Twitter user even called the alpacas the real stars of this trial.
