The little girl in the pink tutu has grown up and is currently expecting her first child.
The influencer posted a video on her YouTube channel yesterday and shared the good news with her 3.39 subscribers.
“I am here to tell you guys that I am pregnant,” the 19-year-old said in her video while standing in the middle of pink and blue balloons.
“So, I am 21 weeks today, and the reason why I left it so long is that I always want to make sure that everything’s completely fine and that everything’s safe.”
She added: “I was very shocked when I first found out, [and] I’ve got used to it now, and I’m super, super happy about it. I can’t wait to share this journey with you guys and definitely have a lot of different content from what I usually have.”
Grace added that she would reveal the gender of the baby very soon in a separate video.
“I am going to do a gender reveal for you guys in a separate video. So you can expect to see that soon on my channel, so make sure you watch out for that.”
Brownlee said that she was feeling ‘really really sick before’ and delayed the announcement. She also noted that her baby bump is not too big and noticeable at the moment.
Speaking of her experience of listening to her baby’s heartbeat for the first time, Grace said,
“That was literally so cool because it’s like, mad to think that there’s literally another like, life inside of you. So that was super cool.”
She didn’t mention whom she’s having a baby with. According to E! News, Sophia has been in a relationship for the past two years.
Sophia Grace Brownlee rose to prominence when she and her cousin Rosie McClelland performed Super bass’ with rapper Nicki Minaj on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in October 2011.
In May 2022, Sophia and Rosie appeared on The Ellen Show again and performed the same song that made them famous.
“Between their first appearance and their final, the duo has appeared on Ellen’s program more than 30 times in the last 10 years,” per PEOPLE.
“As a child, I always used to play dress up. So did me and Rosie,” said Grace during the show.
“I was dressing up, and Rosie’s favorite costume happened to be The Virgin Mary — you know, Mary and Jesus. We kept singing Nicki Minaj all the time, so Rosie’s mother decided to pull out her iPhone and recorded our rendition of Super bass,” she recalled.
After Brownlee’s announcement, her cousin sister, Rosie McClelland, took to her Instagram and shared an adorable snap of the two hugging each other.
Her caption read, “Together forever, words can’t explain this feeling!” the 16-year-old wrote.
“So excited for this next chapter, here for you will buy milk, and babysit, but I don’t think I can change a nappy just yet. Love you so much.”
