While her decisions may have drawn mixed reactions from people, she decided that it was a hobby that was worth spending money on. But there’s one lady in Brazil who took things to another level. Of course, many women worldwide aspire to look and be like Kim Kardashian.
She’s a beautiful woman who has found much fame and fortune throughout her life. It’s only natural that some women would look up to her. But a 28-year-old Brazilian Instagram personality from Brazil upped the ante of her fandom by dropping more than $700,000 on cosmetic procedures in order to look more like Kim Kardashian.
A Long Journey
For the past 11 years, Jennifer Pamplona has been posting progress updates on her personal Instagram, with more than 965 thousand followers, regarding her gradual transformation into looking more like the reality TV star.
She has spent more than $700,000 on various cosmetic surgeries and procedures. The Instagram star had her first surgery when she was just 17-years-old, which was the first of three breast augmentations. Jennifer has undergone so many procedures to rework her body’s looks that there was one point wherein she had nine surgeries in the span of 24 hours.
Of course, many medical experts weren’t too keen on Jennifer’s choices to alter her body drastically. But the young Brazilian was adamant about seeing her vision through, no matter what it would cost her. There have been a few instances wherein Pamplona nearly succumbed to her lifestyle choices.
“I was told I was going to die. When I was doing my butt procedure, my doctor didn’t put an anesthetic. My pressure went down and I thought I was going to die. It was very bad.”
Dream Worth Emulating?
In a recently published YouTube video that has garnered nearly 180,000 views, Pamplona opens up about her journey and her rationale behind pursuing such goals. Pamplona said in the video:
“I’m going to be a bigger star than Kim Kardashian because I work harder every single day,”
“I was doing surgery like I was going to the supermarket… I will never stop designing my body.”
According to Pamplona, her surgeries are investments into the persona that she’s trying to create for herself. So far, Pamplona has undergone three nose jobs, three breast jobs, eight liposuctions, leg fillers, and but fillers, to name a few.
While Pamplona is indeed committed to this endeavor of hers, not too many people share her enthusiasm. One particular commenter on the YouTube video wrote:
“I would have used that 700k to travel around the world to learn about cultures, different people but most importantly to learn to love myself.”
