  1. Not giving them time and space

  1. Giving them the silent treatment

Communication is one of the most important things in a relationship. If you care for your partner, express it. Do you hold dungeons of insecurities inside you? Believe that your partner can free you from them. Do you have a problem with your partner or there is something that is constantly disturbing you about them, talk it out with them.

Without communication, the distance starts to grow between two people and there comes a time when lovers become strangers just because of the anchors they hold within them. These anchors drown them at sea.

  1. Thinking you’re too good

No one is perfect. No one is too good. It’s just a perception that people have in their minds because to some people, you’ll always be average. Making someone feel inferior and telling them that they’re lucky to be In a relationship with you is the worst thing that you can do to the romance.

This society already does a great job at making us feel inferior and unworthy because of its elevated standards. Love and romance are meant to make a person feel that they’re enough for someone.

  1. Anger issues

Anger is a poison. It can make a person lose their originality. If we have a lot of anger inside ourselves, we sometimes say stuff that we weren’t meant to say. Sometimes we go too far and we regret our words. We should always think thrice before saying something. Words have the power to break out wars. A relationship is a far easier thing for them to destroy.

  1. Not making an effort for them

If you love someone, then you shouldn’t just express it. You should take action. You should do stuff that makes the other person believe that you do care for them with all your heart. Bring them flowers and make breakfast for them from time to time. Take interest in what they are interested in. If you don’t, the love and romance will vanish in thin air.
