Audrey Hepburn’s Granddaughter Emma Ferrer looks Exactly Like her Late Grandmother

Audrey Hepburn was one of the iconic Hollywood actresses known for her timeless beauty and outstanding acting skills. She is best known for her role as Holly Golightly in Breakfast at Tiffany’s.

Born in 1929, the British actress was recognized as a fashion and film icon and a great humanitarian. The American film institute ranked Audrey as the third greatest female screen legend from classical Hollywood cinema.

Some of her notable projects include Roman Holiday, Sabrina, My Fair Lady, Funny Face, Charade, War and Peace, Always, Love in the Afternoon, The Lavender Hill Mob, Bloodline, Monte Carlo Baby, Love Among Thieves, Simone, and Secret People.

Throughout her career, the Breakfast at Tiffany’s star won several awards, including an Oscar. In 1992 she was presented with the Presidential Medal of Freedom as the Goodwill Ambassador was UNICEF.

Hepburn passed away in January 1993, a year after she had undergone surgery for colon cancer.

While the legend has been dead for decades, her 29-year-old granddaughter, Emma Ferrer, looks remarkably similar to her grandmother.

Born in 1994, a year after her grandmother’s passing, although Ferrer never met her or seen her in person, she has watched all her work and even gathered a lot of information about her personality and style; what she looked like, how she dressed up, the way she delivered dialogues and so on.

“Slowly, I started going to friends’ houses and seeing that she was in a poster in their kitchen, or I would see her on a T-shirt or on handbags. (It was like), ‘I guess this actually is a bigger deal than I thought it was,’” Emma said in an interview with Today.

“She really revolutionized what we take for granted today … which is to have a celebrity of her magnitude associated with a cause like she was,” Ferrer added about her grandmother. “But at the time — I don’t know if we can really appreciate how revolutionary that, in fact, was.”

Emma is the daughter of Audrey’s eldest son, Sean Hepburn Ferrer, whom she shared with her first husband, Mel Ferrer. She also welcomed another son, Luca Dotto, with her second husband, an Italian psychiatrist, Andrea Dotti.

Emma Ferrer was born in Switzerland and grew up in Los Angeles. In 2014 she joined the Florence Academy of Arts in Florence, Italy, as she has a passion for the Arts.

“My dad will sometimes laugh at things I do or say,” Emma told Yahoo Style in 2014. “He says I inherited the “comic gene” from her.”

The 29-year-old, who is passionate about arts and modeling, often poses for different magazines and does fashion shoots. However, Emma has no interest in becoming a movie artist like her grandmother.

“There’s been an intimacy in what my dad tells me about her and the stories that people who knew her tell me about,” said Ferrer.

“Working on set, she would use her lunch break to cook lunch for the whole crew. She did this famous — I guess it was a series on gardens of the world with this … famous news TV personality. … This news person, she got a stain on her shirt, and so my grandmother took her shirt and went and laundered it in her hotel room dry cleaner.”

“These little things, she always brought flowers, and she would bring breakfast in bed if you were staying at her house,” she continued. “(She) just did these little things that make her seem like she was just the best, the nicest person,”
