Hollywood’s power couple, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, are all set to become billionaires.
The couple, who first met each other in 2010 on the set of their film Green Lantern, started dating in 2011, by the end of which, they were sure they were made for each other. Ryan was previously married to the Black Widow star, Scarlet Johansson, and Blake was dating her Gossip Girl co-star, Penn Badgley.
In late 2010, Lively broke up with Badgley, and Ryan decided to part ways with Johansson; their divorce was finalized in May 2011. By that time, Blake and Ryan were head over heels in love with each other.
In 2012, they tied the knot in a secret ceremony at Boone Hall Plantation in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. “We were buddies for a long time, which I think is the best way to have a relationship, to start as friends,” the Deadpool actor stated in 2016.
“About a year after Green Lantern had come and gone and we were both single, we went on a double date – she was on a date with another guy, and I was on a date with another girl – and it was like the most awkward date for the respective parties because we were just like fireworks coming across,” he told PEOPLE.
The couple shares three daughters together – seven-year-old James, five-year-old Inez, and two-year-old Betty. Earlier this year, Blake and Ryan welcomed their fourth child in February – the baby’s gender and name are yet to be revealed.
Both Lively and Reynolds are known for their sense of humor and love for each other, which shines through in their playful interactions on social media. Reynolds, in particular, is famous for his humorous tweets and memes about his family and marriage.
As for their net worth and financial status, they are both successful Hollywood actors – Lively is best known for her role as Serena van der Woodsen in the popular TV series “Gossip Girl”, while Reynolds has appeared in numerous films, including “Deadpool”, “6 Underground” and “The Proposal”.
They have a collective net worth of $690 million, and with their multiple business deals, they are pretty close to reaching the six figures very soon.
Over the last few years, the couple has put their money into numerous new ventures, including gin, countless pies, launching non-alcoholic drinks, mobile phones, fashion, and football. The Deadpool star is also the co-owner of Wrexham Football Club with his fellow actor Rob McElhenney.
“It was a purchase that paid off in spades, as Wrexham finally earned promotion back into the Football League last month, to the delight of its fans,” Daily Mail reported. “It’s since been announcd Ryan and Rob plan to take the team on a US pre-season tour, with friendly matches against huge clubs including Chelsea, Manchester United and MLS reserve side LA Galaxy II.”
The Canadian-American actor could also buy another sports team in the near future. It has also been reported that Ryan, 46, is currently on his way to leading a group “submitting a £795m bid to buy National Hockey League’s Ottawa Senators, according to the Ottawa Sun.”
Apart from that, his production company was involved in the making of Deadpool 2, and rumors said the actor made a whopping $40 million from the sequel.
According to a new report from News.au.com, “Communications giant T Mobile have agreed to pay up to $2 billion for Mint Mobile which Reynolds bought a quarter share of just three years ago. He is going to remain in a creative role following the takeover, which is said to have earned him $450 million.”
