They are sticking together amid claims of relationship troubles.
The princess of pop, 41, and her 29-year-old husband, Sam Asghari, were spotted driving their white Mercedes-Benz SL-Class in Los Angeles on Tuesday, May 16.
The couple was photographed together amid claims about their failing marriage – a few reports suggest that Britney and Sam are going through a tough time in the marriage given that the Iranian-American model is extremely busy with work and the pop star feels like he’s prioritizing work over their relationship.
According to Daily Mail, the Toxic Pony singer is annoyed at her husband for frequently leaving her ‘home alone’ as he takes regular trips for work.
“Sam has been out of town a lot because he has been on location filming outside of L.A., and it does cause issues because Britney does not like being alone,” a source told Daily Mail.
“Britney also thinks that Sam has been putting his movie career first, and although she is supportive of his career, a part of her feels like she is the reason that his career took off in the first place,” the source added.
Recently, a TMZ report claimed that Britney and Sam are facing ‘deep troubles’ in their relationship, and the Gimme More singer has allegedly gotten ‘physical’ with her husband.
The report also claimed that the couple often get into ‘screaming arguments’, and their fights escalate so quickly and become so aggressive that security has to intervene.
But now an insider denied the ‘violence’ allegations and said the pop icon never got physical with her husband.
“Britney has never gotten physically violent with Sam. She is not a violent person,” the source said. “They are not headed for a divorce and their marriage is not in deep trouble.”
“They are doing marriage counseling together and find this to be invaluable to working out anything. Sam knows what she went through more than anyone and isn’t going to jump ship. He knows how lucky he is and how good he has it.”
The violence claims have also been vehemently denied by Asghari himself, who took to his Instagram stories to address the claims.
“I found it absolutely disgusting that people that were in her life at the time, when she didn’t have a voice, they went and told her story like it was theirs. It was absolutely disgusting,” he said. “How are you gonna take the most influential person of our generation, the princess of pop, America’s sweetheart, and put her in prison where her father tells her what to do, what water to drink, who to see, and use her as a money-making machine?”
He continued. “Then, all the sudden, after 15 years when she’s free, after all those gaslighting and after all those things that went down, how are you gonna put her under a microscope and tell her story? No. That’s also disgusting.”
The couple tied the knot last year in June after dating for five years.
Ever since their marriage, this is not the first time the couple has sparked rumors about having problems in their relationship.
Last year in December, Asghari spoke to TMZ and addressed rumors about him controlling his wife’s life.
“No, I don’t even control what we have for dinner,” he said. “You know, in the past, there has been a lot of stuff going on, so I understand where [fans are] coming from.”
“They’re just being protective. If anything, they’re being good fans,” he added.
