American rapper and one of the country’s most influential hip-hop musicians Kanye West has recently revealed that he never said the show wasn’t funny although he wishes he did. ‘The father of four, 45, wrote about a viral tweet from October 2020: “I know you guys gonna be disappointed but I actually didn’t write the [tweet] that said ‘Friends wasn’t funny either’ but I wish I had.’” Newsweek quoted.

In response to his Instagram post, one of the lead characters of the show, Monica Geller – Real life Courteney Cox got back at the Flashing Lights singer and posted a video on her Instagram where she filmed herself reading the rapper’s comment about her show.

In her short video clip, Cox was seen vibing to old Kanye’s now Ye’s song ‘Heartless’ while reading his now-deleted Instagram post about the sitcom, and after reading his negative remarks about the show, the 58-year-old actress turned off the speaker while rolling her eyes. As audiences reflect on Kanye West’s journey of selfreflection, it’s evident that his evolution in music and personal life has sparked various discussions. Many are curious to see how his past experiences influence his future projects, particularly after such candid revelations. According to Newsweek, in October 2020, it was reported by many news outlets that the viral tweet about the NBC’S hit where it was said that it was overrated and wasn’t funny was anonymously shared by West on Twitter.

Reacting to this news, Jennifer Aniston who played the role of Rachel Green on the show took to her Instagram and threw a jibe at the singer.

“This whole thing isn’t about one candidate or one single issue, it’s about the future of this country and of the world,” she wrote in her caption. “Vote for equal human rights, for love, and for decency.”

She further added, “PS—It’s not funny to vote for Kanye. I don’t know how else to say it. Please be responsible.”
