If You’re Feeling Stuck Or Uncertain, Then It’s Time To Walk Away

Don’t you hate the feeling of having to bear the betrayals of your own heart? You didn’t ask to be put into this position. You didn’t force yourself to fall in love, nor are you forcing yourself to fall out of it. The uncontrollable aspect of love can be both a beauty and a burden for people. You never know who you’re going to end up falling for, and you never know if your love is enough to sustain a toxic relationship. You try your best to maintain a positive approach to it even when all the signs point to the contrary. You make an effort to keep your love alive even when you know that it’s almost practically dead. But how could you just let love go, right?

How do you know when to move on? How do you know when to stay and fight it out? Life is going to be filled with uncertainties. We try to put off answering the difficult questions for so long until we’re left with no choice but to face them head on. We’re trapped in a corner and we need to make a move. Like when riding a bicycle, we can’t afford to be stagnant or we’ll fall down. The question is whether we should stay in the same direction or change course. When you’re trapped in a relationship that you feel like isn’t going anywhere, what do you do? How do you know if it’s still a love that’s worth fighting for? It’s difficult to say for certain. Every relationship is unique and will have its own redeeming (and not so redeeming) qualities. You never want to find yourself being caught between a rock and a hard place. You want your relationship to be at a state of comfort and steadiness with clear direction. You want a stable love story; it doesn’t have to be as grand as the ones that are shown in movies. It just has to be something worth staying alive for.

But how could you just let love go, right? Love is the reason we all wake up every morning. Whether it be a love for our children, a love for our parents, a love for our careers, or a love for our dreams, love is what helps keep our wheels turning. We hesitate at the thought of ending a relationship because what would life be without a loved one to share it with? However, you ask yourself: in your current situation, is this really the kind of love that’s worth waking up for every morning?В – Continue reading on the next page

Trust me when I say that the only valid kind of love is the one that you know is real. There is no such thing as an unsure love. There is only love that you can’t see, but that you can feel. There is a love that you know exists because it has the power to transform people. It’s transformed you. You are a completely different person when you are in love. Everything just seems more beautiful and more attractive to you. You start appreciating life more and you are also growing more and more vulnerable. These vulnerabilities are normal because of your fears. You’ve gained so much with your love, you grow more and more afraid every day that you might lose it. That’s fine. We all fear losing things that are valuable to us. You know that your love is valuable to you because you know that it is real. Is it perfect? No it isn’t. Even the realest kind of love will have its rough patches, but you know that these are hurdles that you can easily jump over. You will have your stumbles, but the realest kinds of love will help you get back up and keep on going. If you have a love that motivates you to become a better person every day, then it’s a love that’s worth staying for. It doesn’t matter if things are going smoothly or not, because the love is real; and real love should be enough to sustain you until the end.

The kind of love that you should walk away from is the fake kind. The illusion of attraction masks itself as love and you think that you need to stick it out even though it isn’t real. You still live every day feeling empty and without purpose. Your fake love leaves you confused and hesitant about the future because you can’t imagine what tomorrow is going to look like. You have no plans for your love affair, possibly because the both of you have no plans as individuals either. You may not be ready for love, or the love that you think you have isn’t the real kind. Either way, if you find yourself being unsure of your love, you should do yourselves a favor and walk away.

You owe it to yourself to be happy, whether it be on your own or with someone else. Find a love that’s sure, and one where you need not endure the baggage of uncertainty.
