An Instagram has claimed that she was involved in a romantic relationship with the lead singer of the American pop rock band, Maroon 5’s lead singer and guitarist.
Yes, she is talking about the Girls Like You singer, Adam Levine.
Yesterday, an Instagram model and influencer posted a story on her account and linked a TikTok video where she accused the pop star of cheating.
“Aware people are going to try to fill in the gaps with many false assumptions. I don’t feel like I’m doing any favors considering the manner this had to go about,” Sumner Stroh wrote in her story.
“It’s a lot to digest, but hopefully, at the very least, the truth being out can do some good,” she added.
The 23-year-old model then shared a video on her TikTok account where she revealed that she had an affair with Levine and shared the screenshots of his flirtatious messages on Instagram.
In her video, the Texas native explained that the 43-year-old singer manipulated her and took advantage of her naivety.
“Essentially, I was having an affair with a man who is married to a Victoria’s Secret supermodel,” she said while referring to Adam’s wife, Behati.
“At the time, I was young and naive. And I mean, quite frankly, I feel exploited. I wasn’t in the scene like I am now, so I was definitely easily manipulated.”
The model did not explain her relationship with the singer in detail; however, she shared his messages with her 385,000 followers on TikTok.
“It is unreal how f***ing hot you are. Like it blows my mind,” the Payphone singer wrote in one his DMs.
“You are 50 times hotter in person,” he added.
Stroh added that she and Levine were ‘seeing each other for about a year’ and then lost contact.
According to Stroh, the singer contacted her again after a few months and asked the most shocking and bizarre question one could only imagine.
“Ok serious question. I’m having another baby and if it’s [a] boy I really wanna name it Sumner. You ok with that? DEAD serious,” the musician asked his ex-girlfriend in an Instagram message.
Sumner said that she couldn’t believe what she was reading and she felt like she was in ‘hell.’
“I mean my morals were unknowingly compromised. I was completely manipulated,” she said in her now-viral TikTok video.
“I wanted to handle this privately. I never wanted to come forward because obviously, I know the implications that come with doing what I do, making money the way I do, and being an Instagram model,” she said.
“I had sent some screenshots recklessly to a few friends I thought I trusted, and one of them had attempted to sell to a tabloid…So here I am.”
According to Daily Mail, “Stroh did not provide an exact timeline of the affair; however, the allegations have emerged just five days after Prinsloo confirmed her pregnancy on an Instagram post amid heavy speculation.”
Sumner’s video has spread like wildfire on social media, creating a ‘controversy.’ People are calling out Levine for not only cheating on his pregnant wife but also for having the audacity to think of naming his baby after the woman he cheated his wife with.
“After Adam Levine cheating on his wife, let’s remember & normalize the fact that cheating was never about a woman’s lack of beauty, worth, or anything for that matter but instead a man’s abundance of insecurities, unworthiness & desperation. Don’t let men manipulate that reality,” someone wrote on Twitter.
“Not only did Adam Levine have an affair, but he tried to name the baby he’s having with his WIFE after the MISTRESS??? Hell is too kind for this man,” said another.
Thousands of people also commented on her TikTok video, including many who think she is equally responsible and deserves to be called out for having a relationship with a married man.
“It’s no secret he’s been married for a decade. The only victim here is his wife and children,” one TikToker commented.
“Naa I don’t buy it, she is playing like the victim, the only victim here is Levine’s wife,” said another.
“Young and naïve? Bro this was less than a year ago,” a third commented.
The Maroon 5 singer has NOT commented on the issue yet.
