Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner’s teenage daughter, Violet, left fans stunned after strikingly resembling her gorgeous mum in new photos.
Over the weekend, the 17-year-old attended Michael Rubin’s star-studded Fourth of July party with her superstar father, Ben Affleck, 50, and stepmother, Jennifer Lopez, 53.
According to Page Six, “Violet wore a white halter maxi dress, tan sandals, and clear frame glasses. She also rocked her long brown hair in sweet pigtails, secured with black scrunchies.”
“Affleck was seen close by as the family exited an SUV and were escort by security into the A-list bash. The movie star, 50, looked summer-ready in a cream linen blazer layered over a white T-shirt, white pants and clean white Nike sneakers.”
In one viral photo from the event, the Argo director was seen standing in the middle of his daughter Violet on one side and wife, Lopez on the other.
Looking at the snap, fans went wild on social media, and some even mistook Violet for her mum, Garner saying they thought it was Garner who attended the party with her ex-husband and his longtime love, Lopez.
“Ben Affleck’s daughter is LITERALLY her mother’s (Jennifer Garner) twin,” one wrote.
“You could have told me that’s Jennifer Garner and I would’ve believed you. Wow,” a second said.
“Is this Jennifer Garner or her and Ben Affleck’s daughter,” a third fan asked.
“Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck’s daughter looks more like Jennifer Garner than Jennifer Garner does,” a fourth commented.
“I thought this was Jen I was so confused,” said another.
“Now I wish you just lied and said it was her lmfaoooo. That woulda been hilarious,” someone joked.
It’s been seven years since Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner called it quits; the couple started dating in 2004 after he called off his first engagement with Lopez.
After going out for one year, the two tied the knot in 2005. However, the former couple parted ways after spending ten years together in 2015, and their divorce was finalized in 2018.
Garner and Affleck first met in 2003 during the shooting of Daredevil. After falling in love with Garner, Ben proposed to her on her 33rd birthday, and they got married two months later.
The wedding ceremony was gigantic, and reportedly, only four people attended it, including their witnesses and officiant, Victor Garber.
By the end of 2005, the former couple welcomed their first child, Violet, on December 1. Jennifer and Ben share three children, two girls, and one boy. After staying together for almost a decade, the duo announced their divorce just a day after their 10th anniversary.
The actors share three children together – two daughters, Violet, 17, Seraphina, 14, and one son Samuel, 11.
The couple co-parented their children since their split, and Garner has also been very supportive of Ben throughout these years.
In December 2016, the Justice League actor opened up about his split with Garner and said that he would never talk trash about Garner.
“I would never want my kids to think I would ever say a bad word about their mom,” he told host Jimmy Kimmel on his live show.
The dad of three explained that he previously made a few comments on The Howard Stern show, and people have perceived them negatively.
“In his interview with Stern, the actor explained, ‘I had gone on and said how much we respect each other and cared about each other and cared about our kids and put them first. However, there was this specific part of the interview that gained public attention and made me look like the worst, most insensitive, stupid awful guy.’” Wrote People.
