Donna Kelce Makes History at Super Bowl LVII By Pitting Two Sons Against Each Other

The Kelce Bowl!

Both siblings, Jason, 35, and Travis, 33 – The NFL Stars are going against each other in Super Bowl 2023 in Arizona.

The brothers will face off against each other for the Lombardi Trophy on football’s biggest stage.

According to CNN, “When they do, Donna will officially become the first mother to have two sons play against each other in the Super Bowl, according to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.”

The proud mama celebrated the proud moment by sharing a tweet on her account that read, “#HeightsHighandUCBearcatSuperBowl”

“A reference to both sons attending Cleveland Heights High School and the University of Cincinnati.”

Speaking to the Washington Post, Donna said that “she would root for the offense.”

“She acknowledged it would be stressful, but like most things her older son touches, any tension would be overridden by joy,” per Washington Post.

“The Kelce family would all be in one place, brought together in part by an imperfect man who came along at the perfect moment. One brother would win, the other would lose, and they would all press on.”

The elder of the two, Jason got his ticket to the tournament on Sunday when he helped the Eagles defeat the San Francisco 49ers by 31-7.

Meanwhile, the younger Travis finished the AFC Championship by hauling seven catches on 78 yards “and a crucial touchdown in the 23-20 win over the visiting Cincinnati Bengals,” per Daily Mail.

The brothers will not play on the field simultaneously as both will play on offense – Jason is an All-Pro center, and Travis is an All-Pro right. But both will claim the trophy for the second time in the Super Bowl championship.

“Looking forward to the Kelce Bowl!” one user wrote on Twitter.

“What a wonderful time for you, Donna! Congratulations! They should probably have you on The Heights. If it wasn’t for you… I’m just saying,” another said.

“Well, this is one way to find out whose her favorite kid!” another user joked.

“The Kelce vs. Kelce podcast was the ultimate manifestation!!” someone wrote.

Last year, Jason and Travis started a football podcast together – New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce.

“We are two brothers from Cleveland Heights who, as kids, had a dream of turning pro, and now we’re here to give our thoughts from inside the game,” their show’s statement read.

“We’ve been waiting for the right moment to do this show, and with 12 Pro Bowls and 2 rings between us, we have a few things to say about the league, the new talent on the field, the upcoming season, and our lives off the field.”

The statement continued, “There will be a few notable names to join us on episodes, but for the most part, this will be a raw dialogue between two brothers who had the chance to live out their childhood football dreams together.”

The two All-Pro players will officially become the first siblings to play against each other in the Super Bowl.
