After winning the legal battle against ex-wife Amber Heard now, the Pirates of the Caribbean actor is getting back with his band.

The legal fight between the former couple ended on June 2, 2022. The trial continued for almost six weeks, and it was one of the most followed Hollywood trials both on TV and social media.

In response to her 2018 op-ed in the Washington Post, Johnny sued Heard for defamation. The Aquaman star wrote that she survived domestic violence. Although she didn’t explicitly mention Johnny Depp’s name in her statement, it was quite evident since the two were married for almost a year and later divorced.

Depp sued her for $50 million and claimed that his reputation had been tarnished because of Amber’s statements. He also said that he had been severely affected by her allegations, and now people call him a ‘wife-beater.’

And it was true as he was not only removed from the Pirates movie franchise but also stopped getting any roles at all.

Amber Heard then countersued him for $100 million while claiming that he tried to defame her for being ‘honest’ about his toxic behavior and violence.

In the final hearing on June 2, the court ruled in favor of the ‘Edward Scissorhands’ actor, who celebrated his victory with his musician friends Jeff Beck and Sam Fender in Newcastle, England.

Recently the 59-year-old actor has announced that he is reuniting with his band Hollywood Vampire and will also make an international tour with them.

The band was formed in 2012 by Alice Cooper, Joe Perry, and Johnny Depp.

The group took to his official Instagram account and announced their tour dates for Germany and Luxembourg.

“The Hollywood Vampires are BACK!! We’re coming to Germany and Luxembourg Summer 2023!

“Tickets go on sale Monday June 27 at 11:00am CET. Keep an eye out for more to come.” The caption read.

Earlier, the group planned a Europe tour in March 2021 but had to cancel it due to the pandemic.

“We are beyond disappointed to announce that the Hollywood Vampires must cancel our rescheduled U.K./European tour this summer,” they said in a statement at the time. “We kept trying to make it happen, but unfortunately due to the uncertainty of COVID-19 travel restrictions, it is just not possible.” They announced in their Instagram statement.

“Thank you for understanding, and we WILL be back rocking with you once the world returns to normal!”

So, it seems like The Pirates actor has already moved on from the defamation trial and is set to embark on new journeys.

According To Daily Mail, he’s also planning to record a new music album with Jeff, which is expected to be released in July.

Johnny has recently hit the road with Jeff Beck and has teamed up with the legendary guitarist to record a new studio album that contains 13 tracks and is set to drop in July.

According to Billboard, Jeff Beck released his statement about their new album, ’18.’

“When Johnny and I started playing together, it really ignited our youthful spirit and creativity. We would joke about how we felt 18 again, so that just became the album title too.”
