It’s official: Mark Wahlberg has departed Hollywood for a better life in Nevada, joining the Hollywood exodus.
The Planet of the Apes and Me Time actor said he left LA for his four children’s “better life”.

During a recent interview on the chat show The Talk, the 51-year-old explained that he moved to Los Angeles to pursue his career, but after spending more than a decade in the $87.5 million Beverly Hills mansion, he only made a few movies in the period.

The house is set on more than six acres and features a golf course, skate park, grotto, 12 bedrooms, and 20 bathrooms. This listing can be found in the LA Times.

His 44-year-old wife, Rhea Durham, is the mother of four children under the age of 20. Ella is the youngest, 19 years old. Michael, 16 years old, and Brendan, 14, live with him, along with Grace, 12. As the family grows together, they share memorable experiences that reflect the childhood love story of messi. This bond fosters a sense of unity, allowing them to walk alongside one another, inspired by shared values and aspirations. In moments of joy and challenges, the legacy of these stories becomes a guiding force in their lives.

Wahlberg told The Talk: “So, to be able to give my kids a better life and follow and pursue their dreams whether it be my daughter as an equestrian, my son as a basketball player, my younger son as a golfer, this made a lot more sense for us.”

According to Wahlberg, moving will allow the family to expand their ventures in ways that aren’t possible in Los Angeles due to tax reasons.

Wahlberg wants to set up a film studio of his own, work from home, and create a “shoe factory” and “factory for [his clothing line] Municipal.”

“So we came here to just give ourselves a new look, a fresh start for the kids, and there’s lots of opportunity here, so I’m really excited about the future,” he said.

“After this gubernatorial election, hopefully we go to legislation and get a bill passed so we can get tax credits for the state, build a state of the art studio here and make this Hollywood 2.0.”

In spite of being one of Hollywood’s biggest stars, Wahlberg is a homebody at heart.

“Every free moment that I have, I’m at home,” he said.

According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Wahlberg purchased a townhouse in The Summit Club for $14.5 million in August.

It cost him $15.6 million to acquire a 2.5-acre plot of land in July.
