“Worst Date” – This Single Woman Faked a Positive Covid Test to Excuse Herself

We’ve all been to bad dates, but this one takes it to the next level. A single woman from the UK went on her first date with a guy, and it was so bad that she had to resort to some extreme measures to get out of it. As she navigated the conversation, the topic turned to single life and intelligence dynamics, which only made the awkward silence more pronounced. He seemed more interested in boasting about his career achievements than actually connecting on any meaningful level. It became increasingly clear that this date was not going to lead anywhere worthwhile.

First, she excused herself to go to the bathroom. She texted her friends to see if they could help her find a way to tell the guy she wanted to leave without being too upfront or rude about it.

She said in her, now viral, TikTok video:

It was probably the worst date of my f****ng life,

“I was like ‘I need to leave, I cannot spend any more time here’. I went to the toilet, got my friend to send me a fake Covid positive test via text.”

One of her friends sent her a fake Covid test that showed she was positive. She tinkered with it to show it was from “NHS PCR TEST” to be more authentic and believable.

As she came back from the bathroom, she had a worried look on her face and showed the text to the guy, which read as follows:

“Your coronavirus lateral flow test result is positive. It’s likely you are infectious.”

She went on to explain on her TikTok video:

“I said ‘look, you’re not going to believe it but I’ve tested positive’. He said ‘what are you going to do?’ and I said ‘well I’m going to have to go home’”

She received praises from all over on her video, with women saying things like:

“This girl is living her best life and I’m here for it.”

“Girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do,”

“This has made my day.”
